Meet Our Team: Heather and Dustin We are a passionate husband-and-wife duo dedicated to transforming spaces into homes that reflect our clients' dreams. Heather, our talented designer, works closely with each client to ensure their vision comes to life. Her design expertise paired with a personal touch guarantees a unique experience for every project. Dustin plays a crucial role in the operation of our projects. He ensures everything runs smoothly while focusing on cabinet layouts and custom projects, bringing a fantastic blend of organization and creativity to our work. Our journey began in 2019 when we started flipping homes while balancing full-time jobs. Heather was working in the medical field, but her passion for home design grew so strong that she decided to make a change. In 2022, she took a leap of faith and founded Inspired Homes by Heather, dedicating herself fully to the world of design and transformation. When we’re not busy with projects, we cherish our time spent with our four kids, enjoying family moments, and unwinding with friends over a glass of wine. We look forward to helping you create your dream space!

Complete kitchen remodel

It was a pleasure working with Heather on our kitchen remodel. She helped us design our kitchen, working with us on custom color cabinets, quartz countertops and fixtures. She also connected us with exceptional installers. She was easy to work with and had great follow-through. We are very pleased with our kitchen results.

Total house remodel

Heather was outstanding to work with on our extensive remodel project. Heather took the time to get to know us and find out about our style and likes which enabled her to focus on the things that mattered most to us. She has a great design sense and often sent us in a direction that proved to be better for our needs and improved upon our original ideas and thoughts. Heather was responsive to questions and always kept us in the loop on where things were standing time wise if delays were happening. If a contractor wasn't on time or unable to make an appointment she would notify us and keep us updated. The delays were mostly our fault, as my wife and I would add or change things on the fly and Heather would calmly and efficiently get it done. Heather was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about updating and remodeling their home.

Heather was very helpful in assisting us with our new build project. She introduced us to new retailers and saved us money with our cabinets. She was professional and had great insight understanding our overall design. Our orders arrived on time, and she ensured that everything was correct. She introduced us to quality Installers as well. I would highly recommend her services!

We hired Heather to make the kitchen, dining, and living room areas of the front of our house into a great room with a brand new kitchen in our dated 1990 house. Heather listened carefully to my thoughts and ideas of what to do with the space and did an excellent job of taking what was in my head and putting it to paper. She then took it one step further and made some great suggestions to take my ideas to the next level. She’s very easy to work with and has good communication. We plan on bringing her back for the future projects in the house.

Heather and her team did an amazing job on my primary bedroom retreat. Initially, my husband and I had an idea of what we wanted, but Heather's vision made the end result truly breathtaking. With any construction project, things evolve, but we didn't want to complete a beautiful bathroom remodel and then have old carpet and paint in the bedroom. Heather's advice of "Cry once" made us commit to the complete project, and we could not be happier. It was more than we ever expected it could be. Not only does she have great design ideas, but she was always forthcoming with project timelines and was always communicative and available if a concern came up during the project. I cannot recommend her enough. We are beyond pleased with the final project; it is stunningly beautiful. We can't wait for her to help us with another room in our house!

I had a great experience with Heather and team. Amazing people to work with; I would highly recommend to others. They turned my vision into reality and exceeded my expectations. I had a difficult request to make a large space into dining room, lounge and office. I like modern, clean lines, great lighting, and not afraid of color but not too bold. They presented ideas that made the space realistic and flow. Also, they added a personal touch to the space by incorporating bulldogs statutes that looked just like my English bulldog. Overall, this was the best experience I’ve had with designers. I wish I could give them 10 stars.
