We went though several builders and options and after the first call from Brad, we knew which way we needed to go. Him and his entire team was super responsive, easy to work with and informative. We chose Brad Weddington over a number of other builders because he was a good communicator, understood what we wanted and was very knowledgeable. We are very satisfied with our home build by Brad! He did an excellent job of seeing our dream home become reality. Building a home requires being able to work with the builder through the project and that was easy to do with Brad. He kept in communication with us, talked us through certain aspects of the build but wasn’t aggressive on his ideas. His contractors were exceptional, only having issues with painters which was minor. The home inspector and appraiser were very impressed with the quality of build compared to other homes being built in our area. We feel very blessed to have our forever home built by Brad who takes great pride in his craftsmanship!

Wow, what a great experience! Brad was fantastic throughout our build. As first time home builders we were nervous when we started our process. Brad took the time to walk us through each step and was open and honest with us. He was great with the small details and we loved every aspect of building our dream home. I call Brad to this day the check in and chat and I now consider him a friend! To be completely honest, after talking to him basically everyday for 8 months, I was a little sad not to hear from him, almost like a rough breakup.

We can’t love Weddington Custom homes enough! Brad went above and beyond for our family. From making sure we had every tiny detail we were dreaming of, to helping us move into our forever home. Our children love this guy just as much as we do which really made our whole experience that much more meaningful. We couldn’t have picked a better home builder to make our dreams come true.

Mike and I wanted to build a home at Quarry Bluff but we did not want to purchase a lot until we knew that we could build within budget. We communicated with five different contractors that led to dead ends, and finally came across Brad Weddington. Time was of the essence as the lots were selling quickly. We called Brad and four days later (on a Sunday) he showed us a home that he was building, which was the size of home we were interested in. We explained that we were downsizing into retirement life. We liked the open floor plan of the home he was nearly completing with the master bedroom, kitchen, and dining room in the back of the house. He continued to ask what features of the house that we wanted to keep and what we did not need. Not only did we leave Sunday hopeful, we believed that Brad was a man of integrity and disregarded our desire to get multiple estimates. On the following day, Brad emailed the house plans (at no charge) that we had walked through the day before. He gave us a verbal estimate of what the house would cost based on a modified plan. The cost being within range, we met Brad at the lot to confirm that a side-load garage would fit on the lot and we then purchased the lot. Groundbreaking was 7-7-20 and we moved in on 1-2-21. Brad welcomes change, even if it is at the last hour. When we did not want what was normal building code or industry standard, Brad was always fair and met us in the middle. Many changes were made at the last hour and Brad accommodated all of them. He went above and beyond to help us out (even stored my outdoor kitchen appliances at his house for three months). Brad is not argumentative when asked questions or presented with change in ideas/plans. You’d think we were the only home he was building as far as customer service, when in fact; he was building seven houses when he started ours. We love our home and Brad made it possible! Great personality, quality builder, integrity, customer satisfaction - all wrapped up into one human being.

I have had the opportunity to build a custom home before my current one, and I wish Weddington Custom Homes would have been the builder that time around; impressive is the word to sum up the whole process from the initial meeting on the house plans all the way through to the final inspection. I am a detail orientated person and Brad was very kind to explain to me, soup to nuts, whenever I asked a question. Weddington Custom Homes uses quality products and the sub-contractors were all professional and respectful in their part of making my home a great place to live. Brad also worked wonders in accommodating changes to the house layout during all construction phases, believe me they will come up, especially when the framing starts.
