Wendy Callahan Interiors and Fine Art

Wendy helped me with a 're-fresh' of a few rooms that were feeling a bit dated and she also helped with the kitchen, bath and lighting design in my recently renovated summer home. Not only is she incredibly talented, she is a absolute pleasure to work with. I appreciated that she has a focus on quality and design, and does so without breaking the bank. A bonus... she is also an incredible artist and created some custom paintings for me that I love, love, love.

I hired Wendy for a full house renovation that began in November 2016 and was completed in May 2017. Wendy was always professional and enthusiastic. She was able to assist me in choosing and purchasing tile for the mudroom, kitchen and bathrooms. She completed a floor plan for my awkwardly shaped living room, as well as recommended furniture for the whole room, which we ultimately ending up purchasing most of it. The furniture is beautiful and comfortable and we have received a ton of compliments on it. She also picked out colors for the entire house which are beautiful! Every room has a gorgeous paint color on the wall and flows into the next room, and people again have given us lots of compliments! Wendy was a pleasure to work with.

Wendy was a huge help in redecorating my husband's office space and then a summer cottage in Maine. Wendy was so easy to work with! I was so overwhelmed building a new house but had definite ideas about certain things. Wendy was wonderful!! She was the only decorator who answered my inquiry in a timely fashion. I have used her to decorate my entire home, the living room being last and finished in April. She is very sensitive to sentimental objects and works them within her design. She is very willing to work with furniture and accessories that we did not want to part with. She listened to what my vision was and designed around what I wanted to do with ideas that were perfect and far better than anything I could have done on my own. She had countless resources available at her fingertips and was willing to go to great lengths to get me exactly what I wanted...it was like she could read my mind and turn my thoughts into décor. She has reliable, hard working, neat and trustworthy associates that do the painting, furniture delivery, sewing and window treatment installation. Wendy is very affordable and I can't wait to re-decorate my house so I can work with her again.

Wendy has the ability to create beautiful and serene spaces - she recently helped me with my master bedroom - I love how she brought in custom artwork that really made my bedroom feel like a retreat- wendy is easy to work with and I highly recommend her - she has great ideas and really helped me make my house a home! Wendy was awesome to work with!! We completely renovated my downstairs; Wendy picked the furniture, fabrics and did the furniture layouts, also the wall paper, paint colors, rugs and finished each room off with accessories. I was hesitant to order furniture that I could not sit in but I did and it exceeded my expectations, it is so comfortable and I just love it! I hired Wendy to to help with a master bath renovation, and a 1/2 bath renovation. The major work was done in the master bath but I ran out of steam for the finish details, which can make or break a project, and had nothing left but an idea of what I wanted for the 1/2 bath. After an initial consultation with Wendy, I was thrilled when she quickly came back with choices that exactly fit the image I had for each project. All of my items were ordered, and within a very short amount of time my projects were completed without incident. I couldn't be happier and love the result! I will definitely use Callahan Interiors for my next project.
