Colorado Kitchen & Bath Design

We built an ADU in Montrose and Wendy was instrumental in how lovely it turned out. She had lots of good ideas, helped me achieve the look I wanted, and gave me lots of design choices without being overwhelming. Communication was excellent. Chris is a perfectionist when it comes to tile, and it shows. Their whole team was a pleasure to work with. Our little house turned out even prettier than I imagined!

We contacted Wendy at Colorado Kitchen and Bath Design when we were considering a rehab project on our circa 1888 home in Montrose. Having never done anything of this size or complexity before, we were nervous about how to begin. Wendy at Colorado Kitchen and Bath was the best decision we could have made. We had some very basic ideas about what we envisioned for a new kitchen and bath; Wendy worked with us to put those ideas into a design that would work for what we had. Unfortunately, as preliminary meetings with an engineer, foundation people, and potential contractors ensued, it became clear that the project would need to begin with a demo, then proceed to a rebuild on the same "footprint" of the back of the house. Wendy helped us find the best contractor for our project, and took extra pains to help us make decisions to work her designs into the expanded project scope. In addition to working with an existing old building, she helped make the following happen: a heated floor in the kitchen and bath; a design that wrapped around an existing brick chimney; design and installation of a "dog wash station" in the new laundry room; banquette seating in the kitchen. Her team did a marvelous job of building raised platform for our washer/dryer that allowed us to keep a countertop and cabinets over the machines and still raise them enough to save our backs. The team was able to answer so many questions and provide excellent professional guidance throughout the project. In the end, we had three rooms that were efficient and usable AND were exactly what we wanted in terms of color, design, and amount of storage. We couldn't be prouder of our "new house", and thank Wendy and Colorado Kitchen and Bath for being so easy to work with, especially when we needed to make adjustments to ensure that the new build would connect with ease to our old house!

I loved working with Wendy and Chris on our kitchen remodel. Wendy was great about listening to me and making my vision happen. She had creative ideas to improve the flow AND make it beautiful as well. I also appreciated Wendy’s availability to answer my frequent calls and texts and her willingness to repeat and explain many times over! She was committed to finishing our project well and completely. Wendy was kind and pleasant and actually made it fun!

Wendy and her entire staff was fantastic to work with. They were always on time and did a great job updating our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Not only were they great to work with but Wendy help us in selecting our counter tops and back splash. If you need kitchen and bath upgrades I highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with Wendy and Chris and their team renovating our kitchen. Wendy helped us achieve the aspects of design we already had in mind as well as make decisions about the design areas we had no idea about. She was easy to communicate with, very responsive and available, and followed up on everything. It made the project so much simpler to rely on her to find and coordinate with subs and contractors. When unforeseen things came up in the project, she helped us take care of them. We appreciated how well she listened to our wants and needs. We are in love with the end product—it nailed what we wanted and gave us even more. And we loved working with Wendy and had a very positive experience with her!

Love, love the remodeled bathroom, bedroom, and closet. Wendy is a wonderful designer and kept the project running smoothly.( my husband was hospitalized out of town and I did not worry about thee remodel because it was in Wendy's capable hands.) Chris and Landon were very attentive to detail and professional. I am so happy with the design and all the finishes. Beautiful job.

WOW!!! What a team, Wendy, Chris and Ashley nailed it. If you need some truly professional, caring help with your project these are the people you need to get in touch with. We recently built our dream retirement home and they helped us make that dream come true. We thought we knew what we wanted for flooring, counters, bath finishes but didn't know how to get there. Wendy and Ashley took our ideas and guided us to the products that met the style we were looking for. They helped coordinate the design and colors with our other finishes, keeping in mind we were looking for durable and low maintenance materials at a reasonable price point. As with any project in these times we had a couple of bumps in the road that were out of anyone's control, but Chris, Wendy and Ashley made sure our schedule was met as close as possible and went out of their way to address any concerns we had during construction. They more than met their obligations and our expectations, if we ever need anything I know they will be the first we contact. We are so thankful that we found and used Colorado Kitchen & Bath.

It was time to replace our formica countertops, but where to start. Down to the local Home Depot to see tiny rectangles of granite, quartz, stone, or Corian. What was best? We had no idea. Flip through the phone book and find the number for Kitchen & Bath Designs. Call and talk to Ashley. She sends us to Granite Imports in Grand Junction. We meet Sonny, very friendly and professional, and he shows us the granite, quartz and stone “slabs” in the warehouse adjacent to the office. AMAZING! Large slabs of material that really give you an idea of what it will look like on a countertop. Much better than the tiny rectangles. We pick three possibilities and take the info to Ashley in Montrose. She provides estimates for all three, as well as guidance on what material would be best for our kitchen, and we pick the one that’s best for us. Once that is done, Ashley and Wendy arrange all the final measurements and installation. Installers, led by Jose, were very professional and meticulous, did a wonderful job and we couldn’t be more pleased. We chose Viara granite and opted for the chiseled edge. Wendy and staff work well together. We were kept informed throughout the entire project. Easy to work with. Wendy's design solved all of our flow problems with kitchen. And it's beautiful, besides! Her guidance thru the myriad of options was priceless.

Wendy did a great job with the design. She managed the various sub-contractors and the final project met our expectations. The project took longer than anticipated but the quality of the work done was excellent. It was not an inexpensive remodel but we love the space and are glad we work with Colorado Kitchen and Bath.

Wendy rescued my remodel project! It was spinning out of control when she stepped in and pulled it all together. She has a wonderful eye and the experience and knowledge to create a congruous space. My townhouse looks exactly how I wanted it to look when it was finished, becaue of Wendy. She finished the job timely and within my budget once she took charge. She is so talented! I walked in to Wendy's showroom earlier this year and told her my kitchen needed a good face lift - new counter tops, tile back splash, sink and faucet. I told her I was concerned about how much the project would cost and if my budget would get me the elegance and updates I was hoping for. She worked with me to choose the right colors for my existing cabinets and the right products for my budget. It was clear she knew her trade as we talked about my options for stone counter tops. When it came to choosing the tile, she had ideas and suggestions that I never would have considered on my own. The job was completed last week and it looks great! We had countertops installed, kitchen sinks and faucets. They were professional and made sure to clean up after themselves. All their people did real good work for us. I would recommend to family and friends.
