When we moved into our new home it had no window coverings. Alden from West window fashions helped us with shutters and pull down blinds. We were very pleased with the finished products. Also very impressed with the customer service through the whole process and after when we needed a shutter repaired. They were very professional and responsive.

We wanted plantation type shutters for an arched window and had planned to get multiple quotes. I'd done business with Rick for some years for repair of our Hunter-Douglas blinds (new cords) and had found him always easy to reach and reliable, so we contacted him after visiting a big box store. That visit did not instill confidence as the rep seemed to have a weak grip on what we wanted to do and the options available. During Rick's visit with his many samples, and finding his quote in the ball-park with the big box store, we decided to go with him for two reasons: 1) He was a known quantity from the past repair work, and 2) while we'd never used him for a big project before, the way he presented his offerings convinced us he really know his stuff and understood what we wanted, given that there was some customization involved for the window arch. When the installation crew came out to measure we became further convinced we were in good hands and following the final installation ahead of the promised date we were not disappointed; it turned out perfectly and we love the shutters and a shade in another room.

Rick from West Window Fashions and his team were awesome! Ordered plantation shutters for 5 windows. Not only are they beautiful but came quickly and Alden did an amazing job installing. Then I ordered a honey comb duette for bedroom, again, quick and seamless install. I'm going back to them for a roman shade now.

When I called Rick from West Window Fashions and left a message he immediately returned my call. My budget was a little tight so after discussing the options for my home he made me aware of the different manufactures he offered. I wasn't aware that there are other manufactures that make similar products to Hunter Douglas that are more affordable. He also help me understand how to maximize my dollar. In my case I wanted the Hunter Douglas Shutter so he helped me find a way to make them work. We went with the Hunter Douglas Shutters for the front of the house and Master Bedroom and off brand honey combs for my sons room who works nights.
