They are efficient, professional, timely, and attentive to all your needs and desires. They worked extremely well with our interior designer and with us. We were always informed of what was happening on a daily basis. They are sensitive to your budget and provide a great value with craftsmanship that is second to none. They built us an excellent home and not just a house. I highly recommend them!

It seemed a good time to write a review for Todd Wilde and White Birch Builders, Inc. Todd and his crew built a beautiful home which was totally accessible, complete with an elevator and a totally accessible bathroom. It has been 14 years since Todd and WBB built our amazing home, and we have continued to be extremely pleased with the quality of the work that they did. During the building process, all of the workers were willing to answer our questions and explain things that were happening to the children. I am reminded daily about the workmanship and quality of our home. From little details of toilet paper holders and towel hooks in the bathroom that are still in perfect working order to kitchen cabinets and countertops and our amazing island all the way to the siding, the roof, and the landscaping. All of this put together speaks to a company that thrives on doing excellent work. Todd and his crew have a wonderful working relationship so that everything seemed to us to be done in a seamless manner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend White Birch Builders to anyone seeking an amazing team!

White Birch Builders completed our home remodel project that encompassed much of our main floor. Not only were they attentive to every detail, they delivered everything as expected and on time, and we could not be happier with the quality of our finished project. They worked within our budget to deliver everything we wanted and more, and they truly turned the vision we had in our minds into reality. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone or hire them again for a future project.

Attention to detail was beyond expectation. The sub crews were polite and conscientious. Communication with white birch was superb. They always called back quickly. It truly was a joy to work with white birch!! We would not hesitate to recommend them .. even to friends and family!

We used Todd for a kitchen remodel. We didn't change the footprint, just made updates. Todd and his crew were very professional, knowledgeable and considerate. They were able to answer all of our questions, and make good suggestions. They made sure to complete and or fix problems as they arose. We never felt mistreated, or afraid to ask questions. We were given reasonable timelines, and they were reasonably met. We would not hesitate to use them again!

We came to White Birch for a huge kitchen/addition remodel. We basically had half of our house taken off and put back on! It was a long project that we signed up for. Without the kindness and professionalism of their team, we would’ve gone crazy. The guys at White Birch thar came to work here were kind, considerate & let us know what was happening every step of the way. Without the use of their services that we had no experience with before like architects, interior decorators, flooring experts, the project would’ve never came out the way it did. Everything turned out to be utter perfection. We still walk around today and look around and can’t believe that we live here! They were beyond our expectations and we are so glad we found White Birch literally every day. We have a bathroom remodel project coming up that there’s no other company we would let handle it. We used White Birch Builders for our kitchen renovation. The kitchen was completely gutted and the project also involved our dining room and front entryway. We highly recommend Todd and his team. Everyone treated our home as if it were their own. They were timely, extremely polite, and very competent. They went above and beyond our expectations in many ways. Todd was very cognizant of our budget and there were no hidden or unexpected expenses. We will definitely hire White Birch Builders for any future projects.

Having a variety of kitchen cabinets and finishes available in a natural light setting, made cabinet selection much easier. Attention to detail and adhering to work schedule made the 7 week kitchen renovation go as smooth as possible. Able to meet outside of 9 to 5 work schedule when planning scope of work and auditing job progress to reduce time away from work.

Without question, Todd Wilde and his team at White Birch Builders are the best home builders in the Grand Rapids area. Hands down. I cannot recommend them highly enough - and I'm pretty particular! The biggest testament I can give is that I have personally recommended him to at least ten people, many of them friends. The second testament is that we’ve hired them twice. White Birch has now done two major jobs for us. Five years ago, they renovated the entire top floor of our walk out ranch . . . kitchen, master suite, deck, half bath, family room, fireplace and more. This June, they completely renovated our lower level. This entailed three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a workout area, laundry room and a family room. Both jobs took almost exactly 60 days. Let me repeat that . . . 60 days! In addition to his quality, access to top contractors, fairness and honesty, Todd's magic lies in his unmatched ability to create a detailed master schedule and hold dozens of people accountable to the schedule down to the day. For an OCD leaning gal like myself, it's a site to behold. To expand upon some of White Birch's other strengths . . . - Honesty - In your dealings with White Birch, you will encounter no BS. Zero. If you have a question, you will get a fast, clear, honest response. No games, no drama. It has been such a gift for us to go through this process twice and to be able to trust our builder and all of this employees and contractors implicitly. - Quality - The quality is top notch. I was half joking when I've said we'd enter our tile guy into an Art Prize competition. And it was smart quality, on our budget. I wanted to spend more on stone tiles so we saved in areas like repainting the doors instead of buying new ones. Todd was really smart on working with us to save in certain areas to allow us maximize money in other ways (like tile and granite). Also, you should see our custom cabinets. They are stunning. - Customer Service - Todd and team operate with the customer in mind during every single interaction. It's Fortune 100 level, truly. Phone calls and texts returned promptly, any unexpected issues (inevitable in a remodel) immediately raised with solutions at the ready, every employee respectful, engaging and kind. - On Budget - There are no surprises when dealing with White Birch. Everything is transparent and up front with change orders down to the penny throughout the process. Todd is clear about his margin, why certain things cost more than others, etc. In fact, i had a separate budget sheet going throughout the remodel and when Todd's final invoice came, his was $10 less than my estimation. It's hard to put a price on that kind of peace of mind when you are making such a big investment. - The Team - Great guys, each and every one. Everyone takes true pride in their work, they are all incredibly professional and talented. What's really cool is that everyone operates with the same spirit of just doing the right thing. And as crazy as it is to do a remodel while you're living in the house, I'd hang out with Todd's team any day :) Before we found Todd five years ago, we almost went with another builder. It didn't feel right from the beginning. In retrospect, that builder was trying to force his vision on us and it would have been a disaster. Our experiences with Todd and his team are always a true collaboration where everyone walks away feeling good and happy with the end result. So, finally, I will end with this . . . I can absolutely guarantee that you will be happy if you hire White Birch.
