This is an outstanding design & build firm. Matt Capitolo and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with and exhibited the highest degree of professionalism. We had 2 full gut bathroom renovations in addition to a partial renovation of the guest bathroom during the pandemic. Throughout the renovation, Matt was diligent and cared about executing to the highest standard. He went out of his way to follow-up with merchants and the many little vendor issues and delays that we were dealing with throughout the renovation. Both vendors and our township seemed to have a very collegial working relationship with him. He and his team were true design collaborators. They have great ideas, and brought their wealth of experience to our project design details. They also were clean, and were mindful of the disruption to our lives. Additionally, all of the members of the team were extremely professional, reliable, trustworthy, and really nice people. The results of the renovation turned out to be spectacular, and have exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend working with them, as we also hope to work with them on future projects for our home.

We have been working with the team at Whitefield for over 5 years now and they have done multiple projects for us. From the little jobs of replacing our tile foyer, to the big jobs of remodeling our kitchen and dining room, they have been fantastic! Matt is very easy to work with. He is creative in his thinking on how to approach various challenges, open to making changes as needed mid-project and responsive. The professionals he has come to your home are very considerate and great at what they do. Whitefield is our 'go to' for home projects and I have recommended them many time.

Matt and his team were great to work with for our kitchen renovation. The whole team was very professional, polite, and we felt very comfortable having them in our home. From the start Matt took time and went over everything and ensured I was satisfied and understood all the answers. He sends a weekly update on the progress of the renovation which I really appreciated. Our kitchen turned out better than we expected. We will definitely be using Whitefield & Co for any other project we have for our home.

I can't say enough good things about Matt Capitola and his team. They took on a big third floor renovation (stairs, stairs, stairs) during the heat of summer, all while we quarantined in the rest of the house. They were prompt, neat, professional and pleasant to have in our home for 8+ weeks. Matt communicated at the end of each day to let me know what to expect the following day, which I really appreciated. The new bathroom and suite are gorgeous! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any home remodeling we might have in the future.

Whitefield is, hands down, the best full-service general contracting firm that I have ever worked with. Matt is the utmost professional who is an organized, strategic, perfectionist who is also a strong leader of his amazingly skilled and polite crew. They did a full renovation of two bathrooms in my home in the past year (pre and during COVID). The bathrooms turned out exactly as I envisioned, and perhaps even better. It was a challenging year the minute COVID hit when we were all home working/schooling/quarantining. Matt connected with me about the state/local mandates and personal opinion on safety measures, where we quickly aligned. His crew took a pause when they needed to (March/April) while keeping things incredibly clean and safe during the suspension and off/on periods. They were respectful and kind to all in my household, especially my 'at risk' elder mother and our new dog who is an escape artist! My master bathroom is truly a work of art that I show people whenever I have someone new in my home (with a mask and windows open of course). I love Whitefield and will highly recommend to anyone!!

Working in the permit dept of a township I deal with hundreds of contractors. Mr. Capittolo so impressed me with his professionalism and work ethic that I subsequently contracted him several times for construction work in my own home. Everyone of his crew displays these same qualities which is pleasantly surprising for contractors working in your home. They clean up at the end of their workday and their days usually end around dinner time. One thing I do not want is coming home from my day’s work and having to wait to relax until contractors leave 3 or 4 hours later.

We cannot say enough good things about working with Matt and Whitefield & Co. We hired Whitefield after interviewing a few other contractors to do a second story addition/renovation and then hired them to replace our deck. From our first meeting with Matt he guided us and made us feel comfortable about the decisions we were making up until the completion of our project. He did an amazing job of matching the details of our craftsman style home, both inside and out. When we were faced with design decisions, we often would lean on his suggestions and ended up liking his ideas even better than our own. Matt was diligent about keeping us on time and budget, and patient beyond belief with all of our questions and last minute design ideas. We went into our project expecting to have challenges and frustrations, but we ended up learning a lot, having a great experience, and gaining some great friendships in Matt and his talented team. We recommend Whitefield & Co. to all of our family and friends and for any job we have in the future, will be using them.

I can't say enough about this company. They renovated our kitchen - everything from new hardwood floors, radiant heating, walls, appliances, fixtures, cabinets & ceiling. They are extremely professional, bright, respectful and clean. They stayed on budget and finished the project in the exact amount of time that they estimated it would take (and this was a big job). Truly wonderful guys to work with! We have worked with so many contractors in the past and have never had a positive experience like this! Any future work that we do in our house will be done by Whitfield & Co.

The job was demo and complete renovation of our kitchen, and took about two months to substantial completion. The five stars are because Matt helped us solve two key design problems, he communicated frequently before, during and after the job and was always responsive to my contacts, he and his team started when they said they would, protected the rest of the house from almost all the dust, cleaned up every day and generally were a pleasure to have in the house, Matt was calm and confident in the face of the inevitable glitches that came up (and therefore I stayed calmer), he followed up timely on the few punch list items and last but certainly not least, he and his team did careful, beautiful work. A year later, I am still delighted every time I walk in the kitchen.

Matthew was prompt. respectful, and knowledgeable from the start! We hired him to install a new front door at our residence which is being completely renovated. It was not a simple job. The old door frame had to be completely removed and the frame re-built from the floor up. It's an old house, where little is level or plumb but that door looks fabulous! We have worked with and/or interviewed many (10+) different contractors during our mission to complete this place. Whitefield & Co, LLC. was BY FAR - THE most professional contractor we have contacted. And their work extremely high-end! They gave pricing and scheduling estimates at time of inquiry, was easily contacted and available, once door arrived scheduled installation within one week, completed the work as scheduled, AND (most stunning of all to me) Matthew was actually on site!!!! Whitefield & co remodeled our basement in spring 2014. They installed new sheet rock, ceiling, lighting, windows and made many cosmetic improvements that allowed us to turn our unusable space into a beautiful playroom for our daughter. Matt was very reliable and conscientious, keeping us informed of progress by phone and email. The project was completed within the given time frame. I would absolutely use this company again and have already recommended Matt to neighbors.
