find shopping for window treatments daunting. I couldn't decide what I wanted and had certain guidelines that restricted my choices, so I looked everywhere. A new neighbor took me here and it was just the perfect place. It is a small shop, with extensive samples and a very knowledgeable owner, Joan. From our first discussion, I was confident I was in good hands and that Joan understood what I wanted. My husband always quoted "measure twice and cut once." Joan measured three times! I ended up with verticals for my slider and wooden blinds for my two other windows and I love how it looks and pulls everything together. There was a slight problem with the slider rod after a short period of time (a manufacturing problem, not Joan's.) A quick call to Joan resulted in a prompt replacement and new installation. She made my "daunting" task smooth and satisfying. She is a delightful professional to deal with.

Joan at ELEGANT WINDOWS installed custom shades for our kitchen windows.We contacted her,and she came out to the house and measured the windows in a manner that suggested she had done this before!
