We are delighted with the Kitchen remodel that was completed by Posavek Construction at our Lake House. Posavek was recommended to us by a friend. We decided to work with Posavek in spite of the distance to our Lake house because we needed a reliable contractor. It was a pleasure working with Bill, Vicki and Jeff. The entire staff is professional, respectful and very knowledgeable. They fulfilled their commitments, kept in constant contact with updates, did excellent work and actually started and finished the project early. We look forward to working with them again on our next project!

Bill and all of his staff were absolutely terrific with respect to knowledge, professionalism and customer service throughout the project. The entire exterior of the house was refurbished/replaced (shingles, gutters, windows, siding, doors, etc...). The project unfolded seamlessly due to Bill's planning and attention to detail. He is a consummate professional and from this point forward, no one will work on our house but Bill Posavek.

The job was a total remodel of the first floor which included hardwood floors throughout with 5 1/4 base molding. The entire first floor was painted and a French door was added to close off the office for privacy. A knee wall was removed that was between the kitchen and family to create an open concept feeling. They installed maple pecan cabinets, granite countertops, glass mosaic back splash, and tall pantry cabinets with roll outs. New stainless steel appliances were installed including a wine refrigerator in the center island. They installed in the family room a gas fireplace with a stacked stone front and blue stone hearth, TV above and build in book cases on either side. Powder room of the kitchen was totally remodeled with a pedestal sink and matching toilet, recessed mirrored medicine cabinet, new lights and crown molding. Laundry room: they installed a counter top over the washer and dryer with a drop in sink, new cabinets over top and a tile floor. The hall staircase received new oak treads and risers, changed bottom step to install a volute, metal balusters and a bulkier handrail. On the second floor the hallway received hardwood floors and the main bath received a quartz vanity top with a maple vanity and toilet tank topper cabinet, diagonal 18" porcelain floor tile in tan, 12" porcelain tile laid square on the shower walls using 2 different glass mosaics to create 2 x 2 diagonal cut ins. Above the tub they framed, dry walled and tiled an archway and installed arch glass doors to fit and outfitted all with oil rubber bronze fixtures. In the master bath they installed wood looking plank porcelain tiles over a heating pad to heat the floor. 12 x 12 tiles on the shower walls with a clear glass enclosure and half wall. Built in tall linen cabinets and quartz countertop on a new cabinet and new toilet. Both bathrooms were wired for surround sound with Aquabrass Aqua Musik Ipod Dock and 2 waterproof speakers. The quality and craftsmanship throughout is outstanding and exceeded our every expectation. The entire crew that worked here for 4 months straight were very accommodating, polite and very professional. I would definitely recommend this contractor and have them do my next project.

My wife and I were delighted with the professional services provided by Doug, John, Josh and Vicki during our third remodeling project with W.J. Posavek & Son over the past six months. The $7,500 job was started finished on schedule (as promised) and the workmanship and attention to detail resulted in a perfect home improvement for us. Our interactions with Bill Posavek was nothing short of wonderful. Bill must have made 4 or 5 visits to our home prior to any work being started. His attention to detail is phenomenal. The quality of interactions and actual construction did not stop when Bill wasn't here. Scott was here most of the time. He was polite, professional, friendly....and clearly was a master craftsman. Vicki was extremely helpful with having a keen eye for colors and helping bring the whole project together. Jeff was extremely helpful and professional. Heck, he even built wall dividers to keep the cats safe and upstairs during construction. Deadlines were met, if not early. The quality of the work cannot be over stated....The room addition we had done is an absolute joy to use. We can not say enough about the quality of service and the employees of Posavek Construction....we would recommend them without hesitation and would use them again with any future makeover project.

Bill and his company did 2 major jobs in our home: a hall bathroom as well as a master bathroom and closet area. Both were completely gutted and redone. Both turned out fabulous. Everything went smoothly and they could not have been more professional. Even neighbors commented on how they could set their clocks by when they pulled up in the morning. 7 am sharp. No exceptions. No leaving for other jobs or leaving my project to start other jobs as we have had in the past. They were respectful of our home and minimized the dust and mess as much as humanly possible. I would never hire anyone else. We could not have been more thrilled. From initial design to finished craftsmanship, everything was superb. I have had some less than stellar experiences with botched jobs and getting ripped off in the past with home projects. Never again. Would never let anyone else in my home except Posavek!

I have had Bill and his crew for 2 projects in my home. His work is impeccable. Prior to finding Bill, I had a room constructed above my garage and comparing the 2, there is no comparison. I'm a plastic surgeon by trade so I am very meticulous when it comes to detail. His crew is on time and punctual. They lay down tarps and plastic, and clean up prior to leaving each day. His crew is trust worthy where we were not home most of the day when they worked. If you are looking for a contractor for high end work. I highly recommend considering Bill. He is definitely pricier if you are going to get several estimates, but you have to compare the quality of hardware (i.e. faucets, window grade, etc) that he puts into his estimates vs lower quality Home Depot brand most other contractors use. Also with Bill, you have the peace of mind that your work will be done to your satisfaction with out cutting corners. Johnny C

We had a full bath put in our basement when our son and grandson come to have a private bath. As well we finished our laundry room with gorgeous tile and cabinets, we opened up a wall that gave us even more space to use. Bill and his crew are the most professional and courteous contractor you will ever met. His estimates might be a little higher but his guarantee he stands behind for life!! He is fast and get the job done as promised. He has sent people to my house within 24 hours if I have a problem even years down the road. We have used WJ Posavek for the last ten years and there is no one else I would use. We have done over 100,000 worth of remodeling to our home with this company and I am very happy with them. We used Posavek for two major remodeling jobs two years apart. Their professionalism is superb. They arrived on time and left the place clean every evening. I had some special design requests for each project, things they'd never tried before, and they were willing to work with me on each. When I chose a bathroom paint color that was just slightly off, they willingly repainted the entire room. Their scheduling of electrical and plumbing subcontractors was perfectly timed, so there were no work delays. We are very very happy with both projects.

Bill Posavek and his team have done numerous jobs in my home - small and large. Everything was done in a timely manner, and most importantly - perfectly! Bill and his team are professional, polite, courteous, and respectful. A few years ago, Bill did a beautiful job on my deck. Unfortunately, the product, a new highly recommended composite material, took on water and became warped. Bill fought with the company, got a refund on my behalf, and replaced the deck with a new product, still beautiful to this day. I don't think there are many business owners that would go above and beyond in that manner. So, when it is time for my next home project, I will be calling Bill. And no one else.

I've had a wonderful experience dealing with W J Posavek & Son. They remodeled my kitchen several years ago. Their workmanship was so awesome, there was no doubt in my mind who I was calling when it came time to redo the bathroom. Bill and all the employees that I have encountered have been personable and honest. The customer receives a timeline of when work will begin and the company adheres to it. There is one man in charge of the project and he is at your home everyday until completion. There is no wondering when they will show up. Prices are reasonable and within the industry standard. Two thumbs up!
