Do not use Chip for anything. He installed a wine fridge that leaked. Didn't accurately help with placement of gas and electrical for top of the line equipment that we had to pay to move ourselves after his installers were there looking at everything. His answer "not my fault and I'm sorry." He is not the partner you want to work with. He'll say all the right things but will not take responsibility when it matters. You can spend top dollar getting appliances with someone else who follows through with service levels you'd expect.

Wine coolers do not leak because wine coolers are not plumbed for water. These people had a plumbing issue unrelated to the installation of the wine cooler. I went to their house as soon as I heard from them and I repeatedly urged them to contact a plumber to handle the leaking valve issue that was present but they chose to do nothing about it. After reviewing a separate kitchen range issue with my installer, the installer reminded me that I had previously informed the homeowner that the range could not be properly installed because the gas and electrical were in the incorrect places but, again, the homeowner chose to do nothing. I informed the homeowner that the baseboard and shoe mold would also have to be removed, which the homeowner said he would try to do himself since he had already fired the contractor for negligence. I went back to the house 7-8 times to try to help with the installation issues but the homeowner chose not to address the issues the former contractor caused. While I'm sure they they are bitter about the expense that the former contractor caused, these burdens should not be placed on me.
