I recently hired Shawna to help draft plans for a home remodel. She was amazing to work with throughout the process! She helped create a design for our new house and added insight into how to make the plans as efficient as possible. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a design professional!

As a builder of custom homes and major remodel projects the need for a strong team from concept to completion is paramount. As we moved from preliminary concepts to bid sets and final drawings DraftSmith was able to quickly react and provide detail drawings and plan sets quickly and accurately. As selections were made and when change was necessary they were often accomplished almost immediately. The complexity of the unique design of our current lake home project required a great deal of structural engineering, all requiring additional documentation and rendering. DraftSmith was able to react to ongoing input from us, our engineers and suppliers to bring the project to life.

We worked with DraftSmith to design our home. Shawna took the time to view our home site, and met with us at our current residence for our convenience. Shawna understood our priorities for capturing our hilltop views, our desire to keep our home accessible, and keep our home large and spacious, with simple clean lines for economical constructibility. Also, I will note that Shawna was very easy and pleasant to work with, and was VERY quick to turn around the many revisions we made through the process, most within 1 - 2 days. She also worked directly with our builder as needed to provide detail clarifications. Shawna’s fees were very reasonable. We are extremely pleased with the results of our work with Shawna and look forward to starting construction this spring.
