My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

Squaremoon Studio is an architecture firm creating forward-thinking design in the Mountain West. Located in Salt Lake City and Island Park, Idaho and servicing many surrounding states. Doug Staker was Head of Architecture at Ezra Lee Design+Build before going on his own and was the architect for many of that firm's recent designs.

Awards

Numerous design awards for past work through the AIA, ULI, Utah HBA. Licensed in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Oregon, Wyoming. Have also worked in Montana and Colorado.

Doug Staker worked with us to remodel our 40 year old bathroom. He is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. He helped us develop a great layout and helped with the selection of all the tiles, other materials and fixtures needed to modernize our bathroom. Our remodel will be much more successful thanks to the many ideas and suggestions he offered. We totally recommend Doug.

We are thrilled with the talent and artistic vision of Doug and the team at Squaremoon. Doug has been able to capture the essence of the unique mountain lot and bring our dream to life. He is thoughtful and collaborative in his approach and allows us the freedom to guide the project but augments our shortfalls with his depth and experience. I'm amazed at the factors that he considers and how he is able to bring high quality design into the practicality of daily living. Couldn't be more pleased with the journey!
