Founded in 1970 as Hartford Design Group, the firm was later renamed Tai Soo Kim Partners to reflect the leadership of its founder. Today’s leadership consists of 8 partners and associates, the majority of whom have been with the firm for at least fifteen years or more. This longevity ensures a high quality of design and documentation for our clients. Our size allows us to enjoy the exchange of creative thought, and key personnel to be closely involved in the day-to-day activities of each project. This collaborative, hands-on culture is reflected in the open studio environment of our offices, located in an adapted, former industrial space at the edge of a commercial business district.
