Description An exciting new concept in décor, fashion and art, Creative Outlet is comprised of three electrifying conduits: ● Junk2Funk -- Functional and decorative pieces are made from items we have re-directed from destruction or disposal, such as chairs, tables, lamps, shades, wooden boxes and so much more. Styles are varied, from warm and homey rustic vintage, to colourful, blow-your-mind pieces inspired by artists such as Dali, Munch, Van Gogh, Picasso, Chagall, Modigliani and others. ● FrankenFashion -- Various different clothing pieces are de-constructed, then, elements are combined together and “re-built” into uniquely eclectic outfits and accessories. Some pieces even incorporate hand-painted art vignettes. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, so if you want to stand out from the crowd, FrankenFashion is for you! ● ARTitude -- Art with attitude! Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism, Dadaism and personal expression are the inspiration for our mix of paintings, collage and assemblages. Our art is typically conceptual – and we believe in making art that makes a sociological statement. We incorporate a wide range of elements, such as paint, paper, poetry, photographs, plaster, fabric, plastic, metal, wood, and various found items. But be warned, some pieces are really “out there”! We also commission custom pieces upon request. By plugging in your concept with our creativity, we can produce groovy, unconventional pieces that add spark to your life!
