I commissioned a painting of myself and my son and I'm in love with it. Amazing artist and great guy.

I spent my whole life uninterested in visual arts. I'm an an outdoorsman and a musician, so I never understood what the big deal was about paintings. Then one day, while working at the market, I crossed one of Rafi's paintings. It stopped me dead in my tracks. After a few seconds I made myself brush off the feeling and continued on my way. I went back to work, but found myself annoyingly distracted. I couldn't focus. There was just something about that painting. I then made several excuses to make quick passes at this painting, before finally stopping to truly observe this work of art. The picture was of a man with what seemed to be an explosion coming from his head and arms. It wasn't a violent explosion though, it was a beautiful one. As if a rebirth of some sort, or as if this person's true potential was finally freed and his body posture expressed a sense of intense satisfaction. I felt connected to the art in a way I never had before. And when I saw someone else glance at it I thought to myself, "I'll be dammed if I'm gonna let them take this before I do". I bought my first piece of art that day and am now proud to own over a dozen Rafi originals. His art captures emotion. His art creates emotion. Needless to say, I friggin love his work lol. -Gonzo
