Seashell Collection

Having been raised in Southern California, the ocean has always been a big part of my life. I also spent an idyllic year in Hawaii after college…sold my VW and enjoyed the Islands to the fullest. When I returned to California and reality, I started my career, first as an administrator in the film industry and later as an interior decorator, my real passion. Many years and two children later, my sister asked me to look at some seashell mirrors she'd made. I expected to see the usual kitschy seashell products; but when I saw them, I literally gasped - they were that beautiful. I took them to a friend who owned a home decor boutique (an Oprah favorite), and she had the exact same reaction. The next morning, she called to say she'd already sold one.
