Christine Emma has spent more than 20 years partnering with interior designers, architects and her clients to create customized artisanal finishes for walls and furnishings. A graduate of the prestigious Massachusetts College of Art & Design Christine Emma studied Illustration and Architecture. She apprenticed with Bopas, a prestigious decorative painting company in Boston and studied traditional still-life painting at Boston’s coveted Fenway Artist Studios. Christine moved to San Francisco and spent six years working for renowned muralists, Evans & Brown. As a muralist and project manager, she executed large-scale national and international mural projects for restaurants, hotels and casinos. Christine Emma, now Thisledow Decorative Art & Design, is creating traditional and innovative decorative finishes as well as customized murals for clients throughout the San Francisco Bay area. She lives and works in Berkeley, where she shares her home with fruit trees, too many animals, musical instruments and Mina,her young daughter and toughest critic.
