We Googled and found West Kelowna artist Louise Lambert who paints beautiful, vibrant Okanagan scenes. In her studio, Louise Lambert was very professional, knowledgeable and experienced in painting portraits and landscapes. She had paintings in a variety of international settings and was very versatile using the mediums of oil, acrylic and pastels. She worked with us to select and agree upon the high level composition of the painting. She offered to do a mock-up that included the scale and content. She came to our house to discuss the potential lighting of the painting, measure the space and help us decide which type and size of canvas would work best. She assessed the lighting in the area, measured the area and requested a wall color paint sample. She started promptly and emailed us updates weekly with pictures. She works collaboratively with us and requested feedback frequently so she could reflect our preferences. Once complete, Louise and her husband brought our finished painting to our house. She had attached the hanging hardware and helped us hang the painting! The quality of the painting was excellent. Louise completed the painting on budget and on time. I would highly recommend Louise and Wine Country Studios! We are VERY happy with the beautiful painting that she created for us and enjoy it every day!

Louise has guided us through an ongoing renovation of our open concept kitchen/living room and adjacent areas. Work included room colour selections, kitchen counters/backsplash, lighting, rugs, furniture placement, and accents. She took the time to get to know us well enough to be able to recommend colours, textures, and accenting that reflected our personalities and not simply suggesting what is currently trendy. Services were thorough,reasonable and prompt with good followup. Her lovely artwork was a further highlight. We are very pleased with the result and look forward to working with Louise in future.

Louise's work is astonishing. Just when you think you've got her pegged as a landscape artist, she turns around and does beautiful still and wildlife paintings. Versatile and gently helpful. Loved the painting she did for me.

I met Louise Lambert from Wine Country Studios, Kelowna BC about 14 years ago. At that time I hired her for a program I was running through the Public Art Gallery in Vernon BC from 2003 through 2005. As an accomplished artist she was a sought after and respected member in our team. I have since left the gallery and work as a freelance artist in fused glass. Over the years Louise sold many large pantings to adoring customers that appreciate not only the subject matter but also how accomplished she is. On occasion Louise and I collaborate and she always impresses me how thoughtful and professional her work is.
