I had the privilege to work with Mr William Murray for my house plans. Our initial meeting was a full discussion of what I was wanting to build. I provided a sketch and he transferred that on plans for construction. I had him do several changes and he did exactly what I wanted. I’m very pleased with his professional work. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs plans to build a custom home.

It was a pleasure to work with Bill on my home plans. He took my floor plan sketch, made suggestions, and helped me reduce the overall square footage. Bill worked with me on the elevation when I had a few rounds of edits. He was patient with my questions and was on time with all of his promised deliverables. I especially liked that Bill had home-builder experience.

Bill has more than 50 years in home construction and design. As such any art work that he produces comes with craftsmanship, excellent detail, and esthetic. When Bill took over my project, he was right into it and dedicated his whole time making sure that the project was completed on time and even sooner than we arranged. He transformed my ideas and vision into a whole set of plans that caught attention to everyone including, general contractors, surveyors, and engineers. The cost of my project could have been more but Bill's asking price was decent and very profitable to me as I could save some money and move it to other aspects of the construction project. With no doubt, our new pharmacy in Seguin will bring elegance and offer a new dimension for a retail pharmacy. I highly recommend Bill to anyone who needs a work done with pure dedication and a lot of eagerness.

This review can be summed up with one sentence; Bill at Builder Design Studio is amazing! He answered my initial inquiry in less than 24 hours. Shortly after a few back and forth emails, he invited my Wife and I to his beautiful home to go over the process and show us some of his work. I want to mention that this was right after a big freeze, due to which he had a pipe burst at his home but still made time for our appointment. We spoke about our vision for our dream home and showed him examples of what we liked. He offered his insights and shared ideas of things that we hadn't thought of/heard of. He told us about his long career as a home builder and explained his transition to architect which added to the confidence we already had in him. He then took us to his office where he showed us examples of his work and the type of information that comes in the home plans. After sitting back down and discussing the numbers (he is extremely competitive for this level of work) we signed the papers and the real fun began. Shortly thereafter, we had our first draft. Throughout the entire process Bill was great. He communicated regularly through phone calls and emails and was able to bring our dream to life. One of this biggest things for me was that Bill never made us feel stupid for asking a question or making a suggestion that we would later find out wouldn't work. He took the time to explain to us why certain things couldn't work and gave us ideas for alternatives. To sum this up, this process was much easier that my Wife and I could have ever imagined and we put that solely on Bill. His professionalism and attention to detail is evident in every page of our home plans. We would absolutely recommend him to family and friends (and already have) and we will be using him again on future projects to add to our home.

We would rate Mr. Murray beyond five stars if possible! We not only were beyond satisfied with his work but his persistence and attention to detail. The first meeting we had with Mr. Murray, we already knew he was an outstanding listener. He remembered minor details about our project and was flexible in changing other aspects. During the design process he was always very responsive and prompt. He is punctual and on top of every aspect. He takes the time to breakdown the complexities of architecture and explains them simply. He is also not afraid to offer suggestions (many of which helped us improve our home design). His experience and background in construction greatly helps with the design. We cannot recommend Mr. Murray enough to future clients.

Hiring Builder Design Studio gave us two experts for the price of one! Mr. Murray's vast experience as a professional builder couples extremely well with his sense of esthetic design. He is thorough in his planning and communicated exceptionally well with us at each stage of the plan development. Progression follows a logical set of steps and he provides and asks for frequent feedback on each modification as those steps move forward. Things we never thought to ask about, he readily includes and patiently explains the reasons they are incorporated in the design. The value of his building experiences is truly a plus in this process. Mr. Murray provided valuable insight into the contractor processes as we selected materials for our new home. He delivered an excellent design in a timely manner and within our budget.

Despite being a total novice to the home design process, I started out with a strong vision of what I wanted to do. Bill deftly brought my vision to life, filling in the gaps and knowing exactly when to tell me I was doing something stupid :) It's more than apparent he has decades of experience doing this; I am very confident he can design anyone an amazing home, whether they are starting from scratch or starting with significant objectives in mind.

I am the Community Manager for a Property Owners Association. The POA is interested in building a new onsite office and contracted with Bill Murray to design the building. The building was partially office space and partially garage for landscaping equipment. It was pleasure working with Bill, as expected, he thought of ideas and issues that we would not have.
