Exceptional service from Renee at Abbey Trading. I was looking for a gate latch from Gatemate that they distributed. Renee was informative and returned emails throughout the day to get the order out.

I recently had a Gatemate lock installed on my gate. When it failed after a month, i thought it might have been forced during a break-in attempt, but saw no damage to the outside of the lock, so I concluded that it must have been faulty. I emailed Abbey trading, the supplier of the lock, and they responded right away. Within 2 days, i was contacted by an Abbey Trading rep who came the following week and replaced the lock with a new one at no charge. In the process he discovered that the lock had indeed been forced, the pins were jammed, but went ahead with the replacement even though the lock was not at fault. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and helpful, I must say that I was stunned by their response and their willingness to stand behind their product. I would not hesitate to recommend Abbey and Gatemate locks to anyone.

Love the 316 Stainless Steel hardware. Not super cheap, but worth it for the quality. Can be ordered online, just google GATEMATE.

I hate to give out one of our secrets, but Abbey Trading hardware makes our sheds look very good. Their heavy duty hinges hold up our solid wood shed doors leaving us with no concerns about sagging. We also love their deadbolts and other hardware, knowing that they are well built and durable.
