We are sorry you are so disappointed, but need to correct the record, because your statements above are inaccurate and unfair to our small busines. TLDR: We gladly sent you 2 of the 4 samples you ordered and immediately refunded the others, then refunded your entire order before you received them because you were dissatisfied with our policies.

After we received your sample order for 4 breeze blocks, we left you a friendly voicemail explaining our policy (which is outlined on every page of our website) that we limit the number of initial samples to 2 blocks prior to providing a quote and qualifying a project and asked which of the blocks you ordered, you wanted us to send. You did not respond to our voicemail, so we sent the following email:

Hi ____: Thank you for your interest in our products. we are very short on samples right now, and we do limit initial orders to 2 blocks. We will send 2 blocks now, and once you receive them and confirm the use of them for your project, we can provide you with a quote and lead time to see if our products are a good fit for your project. Best regards, Karin

We proceeded to send you 2 samples and refunded the other 2.

You wrote back the following: I would have preferred the ones you refunded. I need to see the circle ones in person. So I still have to make another order. This doesn’t help me.

My response: Please review the samples we sent once they arrive, and if the products seem to be a good fit, we will need to qualify your project and make sure that the timing and pricing fit your needs before proceeding with sending additional samples. Please understand that it costs us over $100 to send out a large breeze block sample, and that building a masonry wall is a serious construction project, so we can only send them to qualified customers that are planning a viable project that will be professionally installed. Here is what we need:

• A drawing or description of your project
• The number of square feet of our product that you will need (the minimum breeze block order costs approximately $1500)
• The name of the licensed professional that will be supervising the construction of your project
• Your timeline

We will refund your new order for now. Thank you for your understanding. Karin

Within hours, we received an order from one of your neighbors for the 2 items that were canceled. We contacted them to let them know that we were canceling the order.

We gladly send samples to any prospective customers, even though we do so at a loss. It is part of our marketing budget. We spent $100+ sending you the samples that we sent and charged you $32 (before we refunded the entire order). Your initial order would have cost double that to send, and so it is hopefully understandable that we would want you to review the materials, pricing and lead time before sending more samples. Furthermore, at the particular time you ordered, we were still adjusting to the massive supply chain disruptions (where our lead time increased from 8 weeks to 16 weeks) that started in Q4 2020 and we were very short of product in our warehouse and sample department. We have recovered from this.

I regret that we were not able to serve your needs, however, you are very identifiable because this is the only negative customer interaction we have had in the last year. Karin Jeske, Owner
