We had a bad experience with this company. A&N required us to put a deposit on a remnant that we had chosen for our bathroom. We had plans with A&N to have them provide the stones for our kitchen, pantry and bathroom. When we were ready to schedule the products, we called and stopped by A&N for over 4 months and they did not respond to any of our repeated inquiries. This put us in a bad position as the contractor's schedule required our countertops to be finished. Since our remodel was moving forward, we unexpectedly had to find another stone contractor even though we had made all of our choices at A&N. Because they were unable to do the work, we asked A&N for our $450 deposit back many times - via phone, mail, email, and visits. A&N has never given the deposit back nor have they responded to our inquiries.

A&N supplied the tops for our kitchen 14 months ago. At that time we were very impressed with the options in price, stone, finishes and installation timetable. We found all of the staff to be friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The stone selected was installed when promised with the grains matching very well. The cuts were clean and edges shaped in a nice finish. The final price was equal to the estimated cost. In the past year the tops have performed without any problems. The have retained the original, specified rough finish and still look great. Glad we chose A&N for the job and would recommend them without hesitation.

Anita was extremely helpful and great to work with in our search for a vanity top. Very knowledgeable about the products and offered helpful design advice. We received our vanity top in a timely manner and everything fit together perfectly with good quality finishes. Highly recommend!

Anita is a true professional and an artisan at her craft! She was helpful in every step of the process from picking our countertops to templating to installation. We love our new Pental quartz countertops and would highly recommend Anita & Nick!

I went to Anita’s showroom she walked me through many selections. We picked out granite. Within a few weeks the granite came in. She’s asked if I wanted to see piece before she made the beautiful transition to making them into my counter tops. Anita and her crew came in and were so professional and courteous and cleaned up after they were done. I would highly recommend them for any type of counter top sales and installation.

Not only does she do the work you ask, she goes beyond that, and adds her artistic creative talent to stone, as no one else does...or can. She made me a "splashy Backsplash, that is shaped like a mountain on the top...that she hand carved into the stone. Everyone who comes to my kitchen wants to have one just like it in their house. And she is totally awesome just to be around. Do not hire anyone else but Anita.

Anita and her crew were incredibly easy, yet very professional to work with from start to finish. We were able to choose an innate design of the marble slab for the island countertop that complemented the veining of the soapstone of the perimeter countertops. The attention to detail the making of the template, the cutting the stone and installation helped highlight the quality of the work and installation..... and made the kitchen the showplace of the house. JOB WELL DONE!

A&N has done two custom counter top and sink installations for us and we were highly satisfied with the results on both projects. The first project involved the kitchen and two bathrooms, resulting in a major selling point for the property. The second was a large kitchen project included a custom-made farmhouse sink. The projects were both completed on time and on budget by skilled and professional craftsmen. If the occasion arose, we would certainly call again on A&N Stoneworks.

What a fabulous job Anita did for us. AND she is a complete delight to work with (as is her son). Very professional and such a nice person. Cannot recommend her more highly.

I cannot say enough positive things about both the work A&N does as well as the professional personal engagement they demonstrate in every project. Easy to work with, creative, fairly priced, committed, reliable, responsive, and engaging ... integrity and quality define their approach. There are few contractors in any field that regularly meet these standards, and I would say that A&N exceeds them consistently.

In Northern Vermont the choices are big box stores and a few independent stone fabricators. We check them all out and decided to go with A&N Stoneworks and we very pleased with the service, installation, and how the our counter-top looks almost two years later. Like many people we wanted a few major projects done before we moved to our 1890's new old home and the kitchen was "must have". We went to a number of big box stores and couple of interior designers before deciding to go with A&N Stonework. What sold us was the personal service we received and the quality of their work on the showroom samples and pictures of other installation Due to fact that we were going back forth from our home in southern NH to northern VT. Anita was willing to meet with us on a Sunday early evening and show us product and discuss our design. She even gave us a cut-out of a sink to use to test if food would caught in the "leather looking" on granite. We used for a couple of weeks and threw just about everything we could on it to make sure it cleaned up well. That coupled with her suggestion on design really made clean they were the people we wanted to work with. As part of the fabrication process they needed to come to the house to make templates. They did a great job of explaining and helping us with suggestions on how to fabricate the stone for our needs in the kitchen. An example we did a "double-pencil" on the profile of the granite top throughout but they suggested a slight different radius for the island bar front so that when people seat at it with the arms on the bar it would be softer. Also Anita knew we wanted the least number of counter seams in our kitchen so she was able to locate a granite slab that we long enough to do our 10 ft island without a seam, which is a huge benefit after being in a number of friends house that seem near a kitchen sink. Installation was as promised and very professionally done. We did under sinks mount so I was concern about everything working which they installed perfectly. They had to finish cutting out the cook top and they put up plastic to limit the dust from the final cuts. Our countertops where large sections only two seams in 41 linear feet and they handle and installed with ease. Overall very happy with our purchase of our kitchen counter-top and A&N stoneworks will be our first call as we remodel a number of our bathrooms.
