Cranium Construction

We have a long history of working with Nathan Hake and Cranium Construction on the custom homes we build in The Sea Ranch and Gualala area. The attention to detail and quality of work he provides is the reason we continue to work with Cranium Construction.

Their work is both creative and meticulous. We have used them for four different jobs, two bathrooms and two kitchens. Their recommendations for materials, design, and color have been spot on. And I will hire them again for my next project.

I am fortunate to have had Cranium Construction for two separate jobs in my house. Nathan's professionalism, paired with his easy going attitude, makes him an ideal member of any construction project. His attention to detail and custom engineering may make his product take longer than some other "run of the mill" surfaces, but, in my opinion, it is well worth the wait! The first job for Cranium, in my kitchen, was a custom concrete countertop with abalone shell aggregate. It is beautiful and sturdy and has held up incredibly well to daily use. In addition to the abalone countertop, they fabricated a marble/onyx island, uniquely lined on the underside with a string of LED lights to light up the semi transparent onyx. It is a marvel to behold. Four years later I was thrilled to have Nathan back once again to help design and install a hand troweled custom concrete shower juxtaposed with a one of a kind tile installation and a living wall alcove. Again, his keen eye and expertise helped create an incredible sanctuary of hot water, soap, and happiness. So, all in all, I am extremely happy with the company and the product.
