We had excellent experience with Custom Tile and Design, and recommend anyone that needs assistance in design, purchasing quality tile, and Cambria to notify them. Before we started our renovation project, we had an initial color picked out that we wanted to go with but needed help picking matching colors and tile designs to modernize the room. We decided on Custom Tile through another recommendation and after our first visit, we had a room fully redesigned that we could not have been happier. They shared various styles of tile made specifically for applications that we were not aware, such as for flooring, back splash, showers, etc. They introduced us to the latest designs available to market, yet carry a depth of display samples for choosing and matching. They made our renovation project fun, were enthusiastic to share knowledge, and yet were very patient in helping pick out designs, to ensure our room turns out to what we desired. Before we got the room fully complete, we had already decided to go back to Custom for our next room. The second room is now complete of renovation with tile and Cambria from Custom Tile. We will soon start renovating more of our house and cannot wait to go back to Custom Tile for more.

Holli and her team at Midland Tile & Design were awesome to work with in starting our master bathroom tile shower renovation project (made necessary by inferior remodel work performed years ago by another vendor). We were very nervous about embarking on this job, as it required restoration of the sub-floor and rebuild of the lower shower and surrounding walls, but they made the process go super smoothly from start to finish. The repairs weren't covered by our homeowners insurance, so we also worried about the cost.. but with Holli's guidance were able to find quality materials at a good value. Eric and his tiling team recently (July) completed the restoration and retiling work, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Throughout the time this job required, Eric stayed in constant contact with us to exchange progress updates and respond to my questions, despite his heavy workload... especially when his time was in demand to help folks recovering from the recent flooding in our area. Eric also made helpful design suggestions and adjustments to ensure the job was done right and looked great. He and his team were very prompt and courteous when spending time in our home, performed high-quality work, and left the job site neat and clean. We recently added a master bedroom and master bathroom on to our home. After reviewing our bathroom design with a kitchen and bathroom expert and selecting our cabinetry and quartz counter, we headed to Custom Tile & Design to select tile for the large shower that was part of our plan. We definitely wanted to play a big role in choosing the tile, but we had no idea where to begin. Jill began showing us tile options for the shower walls and floor as well as possible options for accent tiles. As we discussed the various options we began to zero in on something we loved that also looked great with the other color selections for the room. Soon the discussion turned to the bathroom floor and although we initially thought we would use carpet, Jill and her team convinced us that heated floor tile was a better option, so we selected that as well. Once we selected all our tile colors, it was great to get Jill’s expert design suggestions on what size tile we should use for each installation – floor, shower walls and shower floor. With our accent tiles we created a beautiful wall mosaic and some decorative storage shelving for soaps and shampoos. While our initial plan was to install the tile ourselves, the scope of our design caused us to re-think that decision. So we scheduled our install through Custom Tile & Design and we are so pleased with that decision. Although we have installed our own tile in the past, watching the installer work showed us that there are many fine finishing details that we knew nothing about. His techniques have made our bathroom a work of art – beautiful as well as functional. We have now begun two bathroom updates at my father’s home and again Jill and her team were there to help with all the tile selections. We worked with a tighter budget for these projects and were able to find just what we wanted at a great price. We could not be happier with all the different tiles we have purchased from Custom Tile & Design and their design suggestions have helped us create three beautiful bathrooms.

Our kitchen and bath studio has worked with Custom Tile for five years. Jill Putnam and staff provide excellent help whether it is selecting tile, planning a tile layout or supplying samples for our customers. They arrange time to get customers in quickly and provide materials as quickly as possible. Custom Tile has a huge selection of current products. They have beautiful vignettes, which provides a place to see tiles in a real application. We recommend them to our customers.

Jill is an artist. Very knowledgeable of colors and what looks good together. She always has a suggestion on how your project will look better. Always offers several ideas so you as the customer have an opportunity to see a different aspect of what can be possible. I'm always pleased with the end result. We just completed our third bathroom remodel project plus a total kitchen replacement several years ago. A very reputable company!
