Found Jay after "googling best flooring guy in Cochrane" and we were not disapointed. Consumate professional who helped us make informed decisions. There's no way i would have had Jay's patience or eye for detail if I'd gone it alone. Very pleased with the quality of the job and will work with Jay again in the future.

We had this work done by another company and due to their poor workmanship and lack of professionalism, we had to have the back splash in the kitchen completely gutted and redone. Jayf was recommended to us and after seeing his tile work on Houzz we hired him. Jayf was not only honest but also punctual, professional and extremely talented working with tile. He had to redo the drywall from the previous contractor and re tile the entire backsplash. Jayfs work is phenomenal and he is very detailed in his tile cuts and placement. I would recommend him to anyone looking or a tiler.

We did a major renovation and were our own general contractors, out of necessity. We had to deal with so many trades, not all of them were easy to deal with and we came across a few crooks. We hired Jay to tile our bathroom floor and backsplash. Jay was very professional, he recommended products that we could go with, some we did and some we didn't, which he was fine with. He is super detail oriented and took great care in his work, the finished project is a testament to that, it came out great. He was easy to communicate with, through phone or text and was easy to schedule in. He showed up when he said he was going to, and the price was what we agreed to, and was reasonable. Of the myriad of trades we dealt with over our year and a half reno he was one of the few on our list of people we would recommend or hire again.

JayF was an excellent choice to install our Turkish Glass Mosaic tiles as a backsplash. He was very careful and did an incredible job. Even gave us advice on other areas of home improvements. I would hire him again any time.

JF does very good work. He is methodical, has a great attention to detail and treats the job as if he was doing it for his own home. This can be a bit more time consuming, but is well worth it to get the job "done right". He explains issues and is forthright when having to balance trade offs. He is easy going, honest and trust worthy. I got his name as a referral from another good trade that I use, and I believe that good trades tend to work and know each other. I would highly recommend him, and would hire him again in a heart beat!

We would highly recommend JayF without hesitation to any of our friends and family! He is extremely likeable, professional, knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. His attention to detail is outstanding and his passion for his trade is very evident. JayF cares about the work that he does but more importantly, he cares about the satisfaction of his customer. JayF completed tile work in two bathroom renos for us which included a full standup shower and 4 foot half wall in subway tile. We were beyond impressed with the finished product! Friends and family have commented that it looks magazine worthy. I don't think there could be a greater compliment! We will be proceeding with a kitchen renovation and two more bathrooms and we're look forward to working with JayF again in the near future!

Had JayF in to tile a higher-end basement bathroom. Floor, walls and shower surround floor to ceiling. JayF cares about the end result, and because of that, the end result is perfection. Our walls weren't well framed, and the floor wasn't very level, but JayF's skills hid all of those imperfections. JayF is punctual, respectful, and communicates changes in the job/schedule very well. I'd hire him again without thinking.

At Crucial Connections we have had the pleasure of working with Jay F on a small list now of jobs and can tell you that his workmanship and attitude are top notch. It is always a pleasure sharing a work space with him as he is easy to get along with, very knowledgeable about his trade and aware of other trades with customer satisfaction at the peak of his priorities.
