Mark Forlenzo Tile

Mark is the consummate professional! He tiled the backsplash in our kitchen recently and we can't be happier that we hired him. Mark combines expert skill and a keen eye in completing the job in a manner that pleased us. He spends time in advance to prep for the work and was detailed in his focus from start to finish, spending time on tile layout, grout color and edging so that the finished product was a work of art! Cost is reasonable and he is joy to work with, courteous and friendly. Thank you, Mark!

Always on time, great communication without B/S, called when they would be late. (snow).. Work and workmanship were outstanding.. They fixed several problems from previous workers without complaining... Completed the job ahead of schedule without cutting corners... Would hire Mark and his co-workers without hesitation... On a side note, I was an Aircraft/Precision components inspector for 30ty years and fired 3 previous contractors and workers... With Mark Forlenzo, the contract/bathroom was completed without complaint! Thanks Again!

One of the more pleasant experiences I've had working with a contractor. Mark was the first name my wife and I called that popped up on a google search for a tile installer. We met with Mark, and didn't even bother calling anyone else. In depth conversation occurred on numerous occasions prior to the commencement of the kitchen tile installation at our house. Timelines with other contractors involved in the project, product recommendations, design suggestions and pros and cons of each and every decision were discussed. It got to the point where we just defaulted to whatever Mark decides whenever a crossroad needed to be crossed. His professionalism, particular attention to detail and desire to please the customer are qualities that all contractors should strive for.

Couldn’t be happier with the job Mark and his partner did with our bathroom. Always on time and never hesitated to explain each step of the project as he went along. Mark’s attention to detail really showcases in his work. Will be calling again for more work.

When Mark was recommended to me by 2 friends who he had done work for I had no idea how great of a recommendation this was. He called me back promptly and we arranged a meeting in the near future. He arrived on time, was very respectful of my home and followed me upstairs to look at my master bath shower. When I had the tiling redone, about 20 years ago, we never had shelves put in to hold bath items so we were using a chrome floor to ceiling pole with wire racks. The look was sloppy and cheap, really an eyesore. Mark gave me his recommendation for shelving, the location, number of shelves and spacing. The result is a clean, upgraded shower stall and actually makes the shower look bigger without all the clutter. I would highly recommend him, he is a true professional! Every time I enter the bath I', amazed at what a beautiful difference this is.

I was happy (and relieved) to have found Mark Forlenzo through Houzz, based on his many extremely positive and satisfied customer reviews! Mark had worked on a minor tile repair and replacement job for our tub surround and adjoining wall area. Fortunately, Mark agreed to take on this minor job, as we were simply doing a minor update in the Master Bath, having removed some architectural elements (i.e., columns) in order to visually “open” the space. We were not yet ready to do a total remodel. That said, our small repair/replacement job took just as much effort as a new tile install in that it required a lot of “fussy” work in three small, separate areas. Luckily, we had a decent leftover supply of the original wall tile, platform tile and border tile. Mark is without question a consummate “Old World” artisan of EXACTING standards in terms of his level of craftsmanship. He is METICULOUS not only regarding installation, but in the overall aesthetic design outcome. The tile replacement was seamless and impeccable. We were so pleased we also had him re-grout our walk-in shower. He did another stand-out job there as well! We would highly recommend Mark for not just the major jobs but especially for those smaller, minor jobs that require much attention—perhaps more attention—to detail—in terms of seamless matching and replacement. Needless to say, he is professional in his standards as well as in his reliability and courteousness.

Mark did the tiling for three of our bathrooms all during the last year, and we could not be happier with the result and the experience. Mark planned the layout of the tile with us, patiently explaining the various options and his recommendation. His execution was flawless, and although the tiling work we gave him in each successive bathroom was more difficult, he easily rose to the occasion. His artistry and craftsmanship is exceptional. Plus Mark is a real pleasure to work with. There is no question in our minds that Mark would be the person we would hire for any future tile work.

We hired Mark to tile our remodeled bathroom He was a true professional all around. He spend several hours with us to help plan out the project in advance of the work including helping us decide on the final tile selection, has excellent craftsmanship, and was very clean. Throughout the tile job, Mark constantly kept us informed about what was going on, sought our input about exactly how we wanted the tile laid out, what color grout to use, etc. all while offering his professional opinion to help us choose. He kept the area very clean and not only cleaned up every day, but left the room spotless when he was finished. The actual tile installation was done perfectly. The lines are perfectly straight all around, the spacing is consistent and the layout was expertly thought out. We interviewed several tile companies and none were as professional or thorough as Mark. We would definitely hire him again for any future tile needs.

Mark did a great job tiling a bathroom for my mom, mudroom and laundry room. Mark is nothing but professional and pays attention to every last detail. He had to figure out and learn a whole new zero entry shower system and did an amazing job. When there was the slightest problem he came back and made sure it was perfect.

Mark was professional, timely and fairly priced. He took the time to listen to our requirements for several projects where we needed help, offered expert advise, was respectful of our home and very friendly. We will certainly call him next time we need tile work and highly recommend him to anyone - you can't go wrong hiring mark!

I'd recommend Mark to anyone who needs tile work of any type. We have had him back for multiple tile jobs over the years (kitchen backsplash, entry hall floor, two full bathroom renovations) because of his diligence in getting the work done right and his level of expertise and experience. I'm sure there are lots of people out there who could satisfactorily complete many tile jobs, built Mark's craftsmanship, eye for detail, and professionalism make him stand out from other contractors.

Mark did a fantastic job on my downstairs bathroom - the project included subway tile for the shower walls, square tile for the shower floor, plank tile for the main floor, and some bullnose trim. Other details included were the shower curb, entrance threshold, and shelving in the shower. All work was done with a sharp eye to detail, and all alignment/stylistic decisions were run by me for approval. Mark was pleasant, punctual, and easy to work with. I hope to hire him again for any future tiling needs.
