Rumford Stone

Awful. They don’t know how to communicate or read their own paperwork and will never take responsibility for their mistakes and try to fluff their own story. First I would never waste my time writing reviews such as this one but this cannot be untold. I’ve been advised by many people from Northern NH all the way down to NJ and they are mortified by a company that can be this terrible so I clearly know it’s just not me. They were a nightmare from day 1. They couldn't get my profile edge correct until the 5th time for multiple areas. They had to cut my wall on one side of my kitchen to fit the countertop in after it was templated. They also made the cooktop cutout too small and my stone slab backsplash was left with a big gap all the way across 12 feet under my stone shelf and they refused to not only refund the stone wall but their solution was to caulk it. This cannot be FIXED to get what I wanted unless the entire side of the kitchen is a total re do. Ridiculous. They refuse to reimburse me for the stone wall but they did for the shelf which was the cheapest of course. I had no choice but file a complaint against them with BBB and they still refused with their own story plot which never though to mention they not only won't take any responsibility for their mistake, they completely ignore their own company warranty. Don't work with them, there are plenty of other stone companies around that

Hired Rumford Stone for a small bathroom vanity project that other companies wouldn't touch because it wasn't "large enough." We were treated courteously, the order was processed promptly, and the resultant project is lovely. Guess who we're calling first when it's time for the kitchen remodel?

3W design, inc. has been using Rumford Stone as our granite and quartz fabricator for over 10 years. We enjoy bringing our client's to their facility to view their slabs of natural stone. We have received excellent customer service from our sales representatives and quality installations from their installation crews. We have built a long lasting relationship with them.

I have doing business with Rumford Stone for some 15 yrs I have to say they do a great job. from setting up the template to the installation greeting my customer at the time of the viewing. if they is a problem they go beyond to make sure it's right when the rest close there doors at 5
