Summit Tile and Stone is a company with many good qualities but above all an unwavering focus on exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction. We first met Clayton Maxfield, co-owner of Summit when he visited our home for a quote. We found Clayton amiable, knowledgeable, and far from a salesman. One of the first things we noticed is that he had a genuine interest in what we wanted from this project. We explained that we found our home somewhat piecey- disconnected and wanted a look that flowed. Clayton showed us several floor patterns and how they would look with the existing floor. He also introduced us to the concept of using the same tile as baseboards in areas like the kitchen and laundry room where our wood had warped over time. After we selected Summit Tile for our project, Clayton got in touch with our tile removal company and coordinated a date to start the job six weeks out. On that day Clayton arrived with Osvaldo and Wilson his tile setters. Osvaldo inspected the concrete and pointed out several cracks. He explained that the cracks had to be treated with a crack isolation membrane to prevent cracked tiles in the future. We cannot say enough about Osvaldo, he is extremely hard-working, very knowledgeable in the matter of tile setting with 23 years of experience behind him and he also pays attention to every single detail. As an individual Osvaldo is a delightful person, respectful, thoughtful and continually checks for costumer satisfaction and feedback about his work. We are thrilled with our new floor, the result is far above what we expected. Today we received the ultimate compliment from a gentleman who has been in the carpet and tile setting business for 33 years. When he saw our floor he said “I usually don’t comment on other people’s work, but I can tell you that this tile is not easy to lay and whoever did this for you did an excellent job!”

Excellent!!!! very professional, always arrived when stated, cleaned up after the work was completed. One of the only contractors I would allow in my home unattended, I cant say enough about this company.

Miles and his team did such a wonderful job on our home. The team installed a tedious type of job with glass and metal on our backsplash in the kitchen and around our French doors. They installed granite and new flooring throughout the house, created a custom walk-in shower from a garden tub, and installed a wave tile above our fireplace all the way up to the vaulted ceiling with a rock hearth detail! Incredibly impressed with the workmanship of Summit Tile who came highly recommended by an Interior Designer friend. My kitchen backsplash is flawlessly clean and perfectly placed. They are even working with me to come back after a shutter in the kitchen is installed to make sure placement of tile is perfect!

Summit Tile & Stone was recommended to us by our product supplier. They have certainly lived up to a stellar reputation. Their staff is helpful and friendly, prompt and hard working, from the owners to the installers. Having recently moved to Las Vegas, we rely on personal recommendations for contractors and vendors. We are extremely pleased and will be having them install the granite for our outside BBQ grill unit in the near future.

I can't say enough great things about the Summit Tile and Stone team! They are everything everyone wants when you hire someone. They installed about 1,200SF of 4' Italian Wood Plank Tile and spaced the tile 1/16" apart - this is very challenging to do and I was blown away at the care and precision this was done. 1. They were on time everyday 2. Tidy and meticulous 3. On budget and on schedule 4. Experts at laying over a challenging surface of a concrete slab that wasn't so level I would not go anywhere else. I had 3 other bids for the job and although Summit was a little bit higher, I know from their references that I was going to get a job done that I was happy with. THANK YOU!

Miles, the owner, is a gem. He's so patient and extremely knowledgeable. When going over my vision for my kitchen which included his granite and stone work, he was so supportive and offered great suggestions. My kitchen is a dream kitchen because of his wonderful crew. The work crew arrived on time and got right to work. I loved how they were so particular and paid close attention to detail. When it came time to redo my bathroom countertops, there was no way I was going with any other company. Thank you and keep up the great work. We appreciate it.

We recently bought a home in North Las Vegas and wanted to update the kitchen by adding a tile backsplash. We hired Summit Tile and Stone and couldn't be more satisfied. The work was completed on time and at the agreed to price. The installer, Alberto, was courteous, professional and skilled at his craft. He was on time arriving promptly at the agreed to time both days arriving earlier than normal the second day at our request. We would definitely recommend this company to friends and family. We also plan to hire them for our next tile project in the near future.

Summit Tile & Stone installed granite and quartz counter tops and a tile back splash with a decorative glass tile stripe detail in my kitchen. I am very happy with their craftsmanship and the final outcome of the project. They were easy to work with and very concerned with customer satisfaction.
