Electric Bear

Electric Bear recently installed a wall connector for my Model 3. I contacted Electric Bear to review the job and provide an estimate for the installation. I had a written estimate within a few days. The installation itself took a full day. Electric Bear handled all of the permitting with the city. It was a very smooth process. I would highly recommend Larry.

Larry installed a Tesla High Powered Charger in our garage this December. I can't say enough about his professionalism!! He was very clear in what he would do and how much it would cost. We always felt informed every step of the way from our initial contact with Larry through the permitting, installation and inspection. During the installation, Larry discovered some concerns with some electrical work done by our generator contractor. He showed us the problems, took pictures of them and sent us an email with his recommended fixes. I copied and pasted the body of his email with the pictures and sent it to generator contractor. I'm happy to say that the generator contractor agreed with Larry and is coming out to remedy the problems tomorrow. Larry went the extra mile for us in identifying those problems. We highly recommend Larry for any electrical work you need done.

I have worked with several electricians to install Tesla wall chargers. Larry did the most thorough installation I have seen. He is a clear communicator and his billing process is equally as clear. Larry took time to explain the process to me and address issues that he discovered (from past electricians) in the electrical panel. I learned quite a few things about Tesla wall chargers during this project, I would highly suggest that you choose Larry for your next electrical project.

I found Larry to be a professional and honest person. He did a Tesla charger installation as well as bring an electric line for automatic gate opener. He gave us different options and always tried to save us some money! My husband and I are very pleased with the work he did for us.

Electric Bear came out and did an outstanding job in installing a 240volt to charge our Teslas. Price was very reasonable and it was obvious he knows what he's doing. He was very courteous and had great customer service. I would totally recommend him to anyone!!

We contracted with Larry to work on the electrical portions of our kitchen and living room remodeling project. The house was built in the mid-60s and in good condition but hadn’t been updated and still had the same linoleum flooring. Larry was contracted to install recessed lights, light and kitchen fixtures, and to process the permits and ensure things were up to code. This project ballooned beyond our expectation and I’m so glad we had hired Larry. We were aware that the house was old but not only did it need to be cosmetically updated, it needed to be updated to code for the kitchen and the appliances we wanted. We needed someone with experience to guide us on our options and know how to handle problems that just occur with older houses. Larry and our cabinetmaker helped us navigate our options and Larry also installed a new electrical panel for us. Larry is a true professional and paid attention to all those details that made me confident he also did an excellent job on the parts of the house I couldn’t see. He put paper on the floor to protect our newly finished wood flooring and plastic sheeting to reduce dust around the house. He explained what he was doing and asked us to approve of the location of our lights. He was also very open to the questions I had for him and answered them with great patience. We really appreciate all the work Larry did on the house and I think hiring someone who has the experience he has makes a huge difference when dealing with an old house or a large project. Not only is he a great electrician, he is a great person to work with in general. We would highly recommend Larry for any electrical or remodeling project you have.

Larry Finan did extensive electrical work for our kitchen and home remodel from August 2014 to July 2015. He was very efficient, friendly, trustworthy, and professional. Larry dismantled our old kitchen cabinets, sofets, counters, lighting, etc., down to the wall studs. He then evaluated existing electrical systems and began replacing and repairing to bring it all up to code and to conform to new kitchen design, coordinating with Camille of Divine Kitchen. This included updating the electrical panel, repairing and replacing when needed, and connecting all new appliances, including a free-standing hood. He also did all the drywall work and even moved a floor air condition/heat vent under new cabinets. The remodel extended into surrounding rooms. He installed 29 canned lights, 3 ceiling fans (which included extensive time in the attic),a fancy under-cabinet light strip, upgraded plugs in remodel area and other parts of the house, lighting in front hall, living and family rooms, and bathrooms, plus a new doorbell. He also upgraded our spa connection and added lighting to our new hutch. Some of the lighting involved rewiring and relocating connections. He made sure everything was in perfect working order! Even our crabby cat loves Larry! We are extremely pleased his work and would highly recommend Larry Finan!

I have gone through a lot of plumbers and electricians and I am stoked to have discovered Electric Bear. Larry's work is excellent and he does things the right way.

Complete kitchen remodel including adding lighting, moving & adding electrical outlets, under the cabinet lights, and changing locations of appliances. Dependable, trustworthy, clean, & polite.
