Mesa Electric

In the process of building a 2000 sq-ft southwest-style addition to our house (see photos of completed addition), my wife and I decided to hire an electrical contractor (I knew my 1980's electrical skills and knowledge were sorely outdated). We wanted to hire someone with whom we could work side-by-side to be sure we got what we wanted; someone to assure that our form/function design, technical requirements and State electrical codes would be met/exceeded; and, someone that was cognizant of and sensitive to our lifestyle and energy conservation requirements (we have been completely off the electrical grid for 25 years, generating our own power using a combination of photovoltaics (solar electric panels), a Bergey XL.1 wind turbine, charge controllers, inverters, deep-cycle batteries, etc.). In short, that "someone" was Greg Stephens, owner/operator of Mesa Electric. From the get-go, Greg was extremely courteous, professional, accommodating, honest, punctual and (as we found out after hiring him) highly regarded by the Elbert County building department. As we had hoped, Greg's employees mirrored Greg's positive attributes. During construction, Greg's work was inspected several times by the State Electrical Inspector and passed both times with flying colors! I have since recommended him without hesitation to numerous friends and colleagues looking for a dependable, highly skilled and proven licensed electrical contractor.
