Scoman Electric

Scoman Electric did quite a bit of work for me at my business. We had two new buildings built, and they did a great job with the installation. It was very professional, but when it came to the lighting fixtures, he had convinced us that LED fixtures were the way to go; that although they costed a considerable amount more than normal fixtures, they would, not only save us money on our electric bill, but we would also get a rebate from the light company. As it turns out, though, I should never have given him that last check for his work until he had at least turned in the paperwork for the rebate. It's now five months later, and he has failed still to assist us in getting our rebate (which is hundreds of dollars), plus we've had problems with a few fixtures and informed him of this for the past few months, but still no contact from Scoman. And he had told me when they installed the fixtures that we had a "five year warranty". I guess the warranty could've been for twenty years, but is worthless if he's not going to stand good for it. I definitely wouldn't do business with Scoman ever again. It seems that they once they're paid, they no longer care about repeat business, or upholding any warranties.
