The end result was terrific considering that we have dogs who scratched up the initial flooring pretty badly. Aaron Goodman was willing to work with us to remedy the issues as much as possible, re-buffing the damaged areas and using the strongest possible (HD) product for free. His communication is good, and he is willing to work with you.

This guy knows his wood! Not only that, Aaron Goodman is the type of professional contractor you hope for but almost never get. When I first contacted him to discuss what I was thinking (replacing old carpet upstairs, refinish stairs and railings and eventually refinishing existing wood floors), Aaron came out, measured and gave me some recommendations based on our existing wood. He referred me to a great showroom so I could pick out the wood to replace the carpet. I took my time deciding and never felt rushed. Aaron kept me up to date on the timeline of wood delivery, start dates and estimated completion dates. His crew was precise and efficient, finishing ahead of schedule. I looked for imperfections, but I was hard pressed to find anything of concern (I found one tiny chip underneath the shoe molding which they easily fixed for me - but I guess they are human after all lol). I appreciate the professional and thorough printed quotes he provides by email (not scribbled on a sheet of paper) and I loved the White Glove Service he and his crew provided. I have been recommending AG Construction to my real estate clients for almost a decade and they have never let me down. Aaron has always bent over backwards for my clients, even if they picked the wrong color, he has always jumped in to make them happy. I’m so excited to finally have a little AG “magic” in my own house!

My gf and I are updating all our floors and Aaron has sold himself way too short - he under promised and over delivered. The process from beginning to end was flawless and amazing. A sound man/company who believes in honesty, reliability, deep understanding of his customers wants, needs, and concerns. From the start, he stated, after a signed contract, any additional cost incurred during the project the customer will not be responsible. This is how you do business. Not rip up your floors and then ask for more money to complete the project - will not mention names... Besides moving small stuff like blankets and pillows, we didn't have to do anything. Aaron's team moved the furniture and did their best to clean up after themselves. I liked that they vacuumed and wipe downed the area but I was mindful that they weren't cleaning professionals. I also wasn't expecting them to put on rubber gloves and start bleaching away. We got 2 floors done and it looks amazing. Stick with Aaron and you wont regret it. From beginning to end, he was constant professional and was always available.

I could not be more impressed with Aaron Goodman of AG Construction. I learned of him on Angie’s List and expressed interest in a deal being offered on-line. Her promptly called me and soon came to visit my home to see what I wanted done. My wife and were so impressed by his knowledge of 60 year old oak flooring that we hired his firm with looking further. Other vendors had offer us so-called deals but AG Construction’s claim to fame is providing (very quickly) a well written/detailed/professional proposal. Other vendors simply quoted me a price or scribbled some numbers on a piece of paper. On the actual work day he arrived EXACTLY on time and spelled out (to me) the refinishing process his team would do . The team did exactly as promised, cleaned up well and Aaron Goodman did a walk through to confirm HE was satisfied with the work. He found one out-of site hole that needed some work and jumped on that (fixed it) within 90 seconds. Aaron Goodman and AG Construction already have my vote for the rest of the house!!!!

AG Construction refinished my split-level hardwood stairs and entry foyer. Initially contacted as a result of an proposed deal on another site, Aaron (owner and operator) explained that the offer didn't apply to stairs due to the large amount of hand work required. He then visited the job site and provided a written quote for the needed work, within a day. Aaron was on site a few minutes early, followed quickly by his crew who set to work promptly. They hung tarps to keep the dust under control, removed old runners, and rapidly sanded the wood, then applied a coat of sealer and two coats of water-based finish. Overall, the crew was efficient and did a good job - even including clearing some slush and ice on the front porch to simplify their coming and going. The new finish looks great, and I was very pleased with the work.

AG Construction has installed gorgeous hardwood floors for my home and has remodeled 2 beautiful kitchens for me. One in my current home and one in an investment property. All work was done in a professional and timely manor and the craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. I wish I could rate a 10 for how pleased I am with their work.

AG Construction did a fantastic job refinishing our hardwood floors. They look brand new! They were professional in every aspect. First, the prep work done to protect the areas not being refinished was exceptional. there was no paint touch-up we had to do. The sanding, buffing, staining and sealing proceeded without any problems. Their clean-up efforts showed that they took pride in their work and cared about the finished product. They completed their work on time and on budget! I would highly recommend AG Construction and would uses their services again!

My husband and I hired AG Construction to replace the carpet in our Silver Spring condo with wood. Before going into the details, this company has my unconditional recommendation and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. More specifically: 1. Aaron was very patient with the various situations that applied to our choice of living (we had a tight deadline, strict materials and working time rules, and unclear instructions). 2. Aaron's crew was on-time, courteous, and thorough. They were very clean and respectful of our needs, which I greatly appreciated! 3. The work is pristine. 4.
