4 Square Construction

4 square has been my contractor since 2015. They have done remodeing work on my home and my rental houses. My favorite was the complete remodel and updating of my kitchen and dining area. Sheri and Darrin helped me put together exactly the look I wanted. Most recently they completed earthquake repairs to my house. and It looks better than ever. I value their caring, practical advise and quality work.

A whole house remodel……what have we gotten ourselves into! That was the question my husband and I asked ourselves after purchasing a fixer upper. Where the heck do we start, and who the heck to we hire? Sheri came recommended to me by a friend for cabinetry design, so I started with having her come out to look at my kitchen to hopefully get some ideas. I had some challenges to work around and although I had a vision in my head, I wasn’t sure I could relay it to others. Sheri was easily picking up on what I wanted and spent a lot of time walking through not only the kitchen area with me, but our entire home. It was very clear that she was experienced in remodeling and she talked me through some of the other design aspects I had. It was only then that I learned that she and her husband Darrin also owned and operated 4 Square Construction. Lucky us! We had them both come out and walk through the house with us and we explained in detail our plans. We expanded a bathroom, built new doorways and closets, completely renovated the kitchen, and SO MUCH MORE. They were amazing to work with from beginning to end. Joe, their project manager, was awesome. He was very skilled and listened to what I wanted, fixed what I didn’t like, was always on schedule, and was willing to make changes I suggested. I had a lot of questions and concerns and he was always helpful and willing to explain everything. They were all conscientious of our budget and made sure we were aware of and approved anything over their initial bid. The subcontractors they hired were competent and all did a great job. Sheri was patient with me on design changes and my indecisiveness when choosing materials. I spent so much time in her shop until I was sure of what I wanted. She was very supportive and offered some great advice to help me along. The kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, counter tops, and cabinet hardware I ordered through Sheri is all high quality and beautiful! It was also very helpful to have her in the same building as Carpet World, where we ordered flooring, tile, and carpet. It made the whole “does this go with this” process much easier! The whole process was quite stressful, and Sheri just kept saying “it’s going to be fabulous”! I hung on to those words and boy was she was right! The entire 4 Square crew was communicative and caring and dedicated to making our house just the way we wanted it. We are extremely happy with not only the finished product, but also how smoothly the project went from beginning to end. They are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and wonderful to work with. Sheri was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She and her husband came onsite to measure, everything showed up that was supposed to,. The install went flawlessly. We have one drawer face that needs warranty, and she is on it. I am extremely happy with her service and product and would definitely use her again. My favorite part of her store is she has extended hours that allowed me to browse through her displays without anybody hovering, which was really important to me.

I am in a real-estate-related field, and some of the most subtle, innovative, and tastefully unique interiors I've encountered were created by Sheri. Naturally I turned to her when I needed help in my own remodeling project, and I couldn't be happier. Her advice is spot on, and the service is great.

Quality 4 Square helped with the kitchen and bathroom design and ordering of cabinets in a new 2500sf single level home for my husbands mother. The rustic cherry in the kitchen and rustic alder in the 2 baths are certainly beautiful and quality-made cabinets. I loved working with Sheri on the wood selection, cabinet choices, etc; her experience was such a help! When it came to installation, we also had their company do the work. The final product was awesome and the entire experience was entirely painless! Not every part of new construction goes that smoothly.

What I loved most about working with 4 Square, is that they care as much as you do about the process, all the way through to the end result. I greatly appreciated the level of integrity and professionalism they brought to the job. Sheri has an incredible eye for design as well as a knowledge of how things should function and work together in the layout. Also she is very personal, and takes the time to get to know your vision, so that when all the pieces come together, they fit perfectly. Upon stopping by 4-Square unannounced and without an appointment, Sheri Hamming warmly greeted me. After some discussion she offered to come to our home to review remodeling possibilities. She immediately saw where we could make improvements in the arrangement and design of our kitchen. She patiently listened and discussed what would best accommodate our needs, lifestyle, and budget. She presented many options and worked with us on ideas without any hint that we would contract with 4 Square. After several weeks of discussion about cabinet arrangement, color, style and flooring type, we signed a contract. The remodel began exactly on schedule and was completed about a week and a half ahead of schedule. We were extremely pleased with the meticulous care given to each detail and phase of the remodel. The crew was professional and very considerate in keeping dust and inconvenience to a minimum. 4Square uses highly qualified subcontractors for gas, electrical and plumbing. After all was complete Sheri even spent time picking and crafting some of the accessories to enhance the basic remodel. She also has an eye for incorporating items already in the home in order to make it "our" kitchen. We are extremely pleased with the remodeled kitchen. The ease of working with everyone at 4 Square was truly a pleasure.

Couldn't be happier with my new Fieldstone cabinets from 4 Square! Sheri was great at working with me to find exactly what I needed to fit the look I was going for in our farmhouse style kitchen. She was accessible when I needed to meet and helped with suggestions on how to stay within our budget. Would highly recommend this company!
