5 Elms Construction

Contracted 5 Elms to remove linoleum and install @ 250 ft.-sq of porcelain tile in several rooms. Grant and his team were nice people, but 5 Elms project communication is horrible resulting in one room being laid in different 'style' than others; owner specified grout not being used, resulting in major sealing & hazing issues, much wasted efforts by owner and workers. Many 'no-show' days by owner. Materials delivered to site with no apparent application. Seriously non`responsive to phone calls. When there was a (delayed) response to eMails it was obvious initial requests and info hadn't been read. t could never in good faith recommend 5 Elms for tile work.

Grant did a first-rate job of installing a TimberTech front porch for us. The project was completed nearly a year ago and it continues to show well and draw many compliments. We couldn't have been more pleased with the responsiveness, attention to detail, and craftsmanship that Grant showed throughout the project.

Grant and 5 Elms did a fantastic job on our large project. All new hard floor surfaces, all new interior and exterior paint, new fireplace, repair/rebuild of room with water damage, all new upper deck with railing- all of it was done meticulously well. Much attention to detail. Grant is reliable and hard working and the his rates are very reasonable. I will definitely hire him to do our next renovation!

Grant Schlicker runs a talented and courteous crew, who replaced our existing deck and added a new second level connected by a stairway and lots of railing. Amazing results. All boards, support posts, cross beams are aligned and leveled to perfection. Superb finishing work on corners, support rails on the railings, etc. Highly recommended.

I hired Grant for a ceiling repair. I had just settled into my new home while trying to establish my new home business at the same time, with all of this- my living room ceiling had a hole in in it due to a leak, I called Grant- he was very prompt given my situation! He was always on time, took pride in his work, communicated very well with me, and did an amazing job. I am very pleased with his professionalism and honest prices! His hard work and dedication was greatly appreciated, I will always recommend Grant to everybody, and I will definitely call on him with any of my future projects!

Grant was hired to do some remodel work for me at my home. I'm in the Real Estate business and meet many contractors and see a lot of work. His is really above the masses and his price is competitive. He also bid a barn for me and will start that project as soon as I get my ducks in a row. I will also be recommending him to clients and friends. He was considerate, cleaned up and was on time everyday.

We had 5 Elms tile the bathroom surrounds at our cabin in Sunriver. They did a nice job on both bathrooms; did the work quickly; and completed the project in a very timely manner......and at the price they proposed......no surprises! Would hire them again, and in fact will give 5 Elms an opportunity to do some additional work for us at our home in Salem.
