Aesthetic Elements did a 5-star job of restoring our home after extensive water damage from a water leak. The scope of work included rebuilding two bathrooms, about 900 sq ft flooring, 2000 + sq ft drywall restoration, painting 4 bathrooms, getting permits approved and passing city inspections. They provided a detailed work estimate and once the contract was signed worked diligently, including many weekends to finish the work on schedule and on budget. I am extremely grateful for the speed, quality and thoroughness of their work.

I recently completed two bathroom remodel with Aesthetic Elements. After searching months for a contractor that included multiple RFI's, phone conversations and walkthroughs I was disheartened by my choices. I used the Houzz function of "Find Professionals" and found Aesthetic Elements. Alejandra did a walk through and provided a comprehensive quote. AE Construction completed a demo and repair of multiple walls (from water damage) in our home. We would hire them again if any future work needs to be done. Communication was outstanding - Alejandra was very professional and friendly - putting our mind at ease with the stress of losing use of 3 rooms in our house. She checked in each day her team was on site. The team, led by Andres was outstanding! Arrived on time each day, worked efficiently and completed the job in less time expected. Work area was kept organized and clean-up done daily. Friendly and welcoming of our 2 dogs. Thank you so much! You all are aces!

My husband and I interviewed a few contractors for our kitchen remodel, one of them being Aesthetic Elements Construction. It was our first time hiring a general contractor, so vibes/trust was a huge deal for us. From the very beginning of meeting Alejandra, we felt at ease and that she was actually listening to what we had in mind and sharing ideas. She brought in a designer, Theresa, and things got even better. They were both very responsive, knowledgeable, and super helpful. Any questions or hesitations we had were addressed quickly and without worry. We were quite impressed and it ultimately made choosing AE to do this project that much easier. When we hit a snag during the remodel, Alejandra and her team did not hesitate to correct it so we could stay on track for the proposed completion time. Even when we had a couple of last-minute change requests, they handled them without skipping a beat. During the remodel, my husband and I had to go out of town for a few days. Alejandra took it upon herself to send us pictures of the progress and let us know that things were going along just fine. It really helped put our minds at ease given that we had to leave in the middle of construction. If you want a contractor that is responsive and shows up on time, does quality work, and provides peace of mind that things are being handled with care, then AE is certainly the way to go. In fact, we will be calling them back to handle our bathroom remodels in the near future.

I'm a local designer and I was desperately looking for a crew to hire during COVID for a couple of projects I had. Usually, I only go with professional recommendations but I wanted to branch out and find a woman-owned company and someone with a decent lead time and I stumbled across AE. After seeing all their positive reviews I felt comfortable reaching out and I have to say I completely agree with past reviews. Alejandra was great to work with, it really felt like a team collaboration with the client's happiness is the end goal for both of us. Their construction work was done efficiently and beautifully. While some hiccups happened, which is bound to happen with any crew, Alejandra was there every step to make it right. I'm so happy with the work AE did and how they handled each project I really can't recommend them enough.

We worked with Alejandra and team to update the kitchen and two bathrooms in a recently purchased townhouse. Alejandra was great to work with. She was responsive to our questions and concerns and worked with the business that supplied the materials to make things right when the details went wrong. It was a medium size job (kitchen cabinets, countertops, backsplash, bath vanities, painting, flooring) all done by her hard-working crew in 3 weeks. We enjoyed our experience with Aesthetic Elements Construction (AE) very much. We performed a small to medium-sized remodel of our kitchen and some other areas where new walls were built, walls were removed, countertops installed, and other small items. We are very happy with how the work turned out and it was a breeze working with AE. We would definitely recommend using them and plan to use them for future projects. Pricing: We interviewed 5 contractors for our project and they were in the middle of the pack as it goes in terms of pricing. We were more than OK to pay the additional cost from the low bid because they were incredibly professional, provided the most detailed and accurate proposal out of ALL of the companies we interviewed and we liked their portfolio the best. Responsiveness: You always hear of horror stories with contractors being difficult to schedule, pushing start dates, not showing up for work or disappearing as the project ends, we had none of these issues with AE. They were able to start our project early, showed up every single day until the project was complete, finished the project 2 days earlier than projected (would have been 5 days if the Oakland inspectors made it out faster) and communicated if they were going to be late (which only occurred once due to an employees family emergency). Work Quality: We enjoyed their work quality and are very happy with the results. They kept a super clean work site and worked with us on small changes we wanted, adding scope of work due to City of Oakland inspection requirements and worked diligently to make sure we were happy with the end product by going above and beyond on our end of project punch list.

After receiving competitive bids from three different contractors, I chose Aesthetic Elements for my master bath remodel, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the resulting workmanship. Though mine was a relatively small project, you would never know that from the attention I received throughout from Alejandra Ruiz and her crew. Alejandra was very easy to work with—accessible during the project in person and by phone and responsive to all my queries, even the smallest ones. Tasks and expenses were clearly laid out and followed. While hiring a female contractor was not a project criterion, I was and am nonetheless happy to have selected a gifted woman for the job.

Alejandra is fantastic. I can’t think of anything to gripe about my contractor. She’s a General who deploys her teams according to specialty & each task is accomplished in record time. She just completed a second project for me and I’m planning a third because she made it so effortless. What I appreciate most is her resourcefulness and long list of affordable industry contacts. My first project, we literally ran into a wall. A support wall to be precise. She sent over a structural engineer and within days, we replaced a supporting beam and transformed a cramped corner into a wide-open living space. The result was stunning. My second project, we turned a neglected formal dining room into an office. The prefabricated cabinets and shelves arrived on a Friday. Her team came on the following Wednesday. It was installed in 7 working days. Unbelievable. And she does everything she can to make every project into a finished product, remembering to put the finishing touches as discussed. For the many various jobs around my house, I think I may have met every team on her repertoire. All the guys work quietly where possible and they are respectful of my work-at-home arrangement. And they clean up at the end of each day!

This company deserves a diamond certification. We were serendipitous in finding Aesthetic Elements Construction after another contractor we hired unfortunately had to back out of our two room, one bathroom addition construction project. AEC didn't simply start complete the project, they rapidly transformed our house into a residence worthy of being featured within the pages of an magazine. The crew (they became more akin to friends after the project was completed) was timely, punctual, and attentive to details that could have been easily missed, and even provided recommendations when we looked blankly at certain areas of the project and said "ohmygodwhatdowedo." The project manager, Alejandra, was readily responsive at every minutae of a request we asked her. She visited the site regularly and oversaw the project with unparalleled professionalism and finesse. The project was finished with amazing alacrity. The occasionaly unforseen circumstances were handled creatively, and at minimal cost. They are flexible in working with your budget as well. I cannot recommend this company more. We intend to use AEC for future projects.
