I hired Aaron in September 2020 to do a bathroom gut renovation and complete drain stack replacement at my mother's house and could not be more satisfied. I procrastinated for years on this project due to unpleasant experiences I've had with contractors in the past, but Aaron came highly recommended so I decided to give it a shot. Aaron is different, almost old school in his approach to customer service and craftsmanship. In complete sincerity, I didn't know contractors like this existed anymore. His communication during the project was off the charts and his oversight was meticulous. As another reviewer commented..he just gets it. It was the little things that really made a difference. Always on time for appointments, easy to work with, timely follow-up, professional talented subs and spotless worksite. On a personal note, this project had some significant challenges for me and my family. My mother has serious health issues and had to move out during construction. Aaron was completely sensitive to the situation and did everything he could to get the project done quickly and safely for my Mom. He had subs working overtime in order to get my Mom back home and made sure the entire space was deep cleaned before she returned. In the end, Aaron exceeded expectations delivering a high quality product under significant time constraints during a pandemic! Everyone has commented on how beautifully the bathroom came out. Amazing! Really, it's just amazing. Aaron is a fantastic GC, and his carpenter team of Julio and his brother (we weren't introduced) were spectacular. In one of the hottest weeks of August, they repaired and improved my 3rd- and 4th-story decks in only 5 days! In addition to replacing all the deck boards on the lower deck and repairing rotted railings on the upper one, they replaced part of a solid railing with an open one (upper) and added a free-standing pergola custom-fitted to the lower deck. Work is all beautiful and their clean-up and attention to detail were spot on. Would 100% recommend and will use ARS Construction for my future needs.

My spouse and I worked with Aaron and ARS Construction on two projects over the last ~18 months: a complete redo of the kitchen and two baths and a rebuild of our deck. Both projects went smoothly, Aaron was responsive throughout. Beyond being great craftsmen, his staff was communicative and respectful. Aaron did a great job working with our schedule by letting us know when we'd have to pick what with plenty of notice, going out of his way to bring tile and stain options to us so we could see them in context to make a faster decision, and giving us a heads up about what to expect in terms of timing, noise, use of space, etc. I should mention that I got multiple quotes for the projects (like you do) and Aaron was not the cheapest. However, the huge 2 bathroom and a kitchen project came in within 2% of budget even though we went over on some allowences and the deck came in right on or a bit under budget. Aaron helped us understand what was driving cost so we could decide what tradeoffs we were willing to live with and we didn't see any unexpected costs. Finally, my husband wanted me to mention he really appreciates how easy it was to get punch list items and little touch ups done at the end of the projects.

Our front porch, which gets a lot of sun, needed new decking once again, and this time around we decided to look into the options available for composite decking. ARS Construction, was very knowledgable about the various options up front and gave us time to choose what we felt would be the best and look the best. The work was done quickly, cleanly and, honestly, I was very impressed with the quality of the work itself. Being as I was a woodworker for 20 some years when I was younger, I am picky about such stuff. Price was very reasonable too, and I was very happy with the ease of communication, even though I would consider this to be a small project for ARS Construction. We would be happy to use them again in the furture.

We chose ARS Construction to replace a deck and the front of an existing garage. We were able to obtain an appointment quickly with Aaron Scriebman. He was on time for the appointment and very professional. Gave me numerous options and suggestions. His crew did a wonderful job. The deck is perfect and the front of the garage is greatly improved. They were neat and efficient. I highly recommend Aaron and this company.
