I used Artisan Construction, Inc. to renovate my kitchen. They did an awesome job! My kitchen was gutted, then new flooring, cabinets to the ceiling, appliances, backsplash, lighting, crown molding....everything was done along with new lighting and wainscoting in the dining room. The workers were great. Came on time....cleaned up every day before leaving and equipment was left neatly lined up for their return the next day. The work ethic is better than I have ever seen. I love my new kitchen and it still looks great 2 years later. I would call Artisan again for future projects for sure!

We were wise enough to hire Artisan Construction for two fairly big jobs, and plan to have them return soon for yet another. Four years or so ago they enclosed a small screen porch for us, converting it into a sun room. During this time they also repaired and painted our 60 plus years old walls in half our home, installed wainscotting, turned an old closet into a beautiful walk-in closet, and replaced several old bi-fold doors with study real double doors. We were so impressed with the final products, the value, and the service that we hired them again in 2019 to completely remodel our kitchen, design, build, and install custom-made shelving, repair and paint the walls and ceiling, and replace the flooring on the other side of our house. Once again Artisan amazed us. We have the dream kitchen we've always wanted. Both Fred and Lucy's attention to detail and communication with their clients contribute to the effectiveness as building partners. Fred and Lucy are awesome! I needed a new roof, which included two skylights. Apparently one of the skylights was not really a skylight, but a sliding glass door panel placed on the roof and sealed. My ceiling below the skylight was badly stained. I got several estimates. Fred was the only one that told me that he would not replace the skylight with another glass door panel. His reason was because he could not gaurentee that I would not have the same problem again. His estimate included the roof, two new skylights, carpentry work to allow for a standard size skylight, and interior painting. Even with all the extras, his price was only slightly higher than simply replacing the roof and skylights with none of the extras. And, the work was superb! And more; about two months after the roofing project, my basement flooded in one of the storms. I called Fred in a panic. I didn’t know what else to do. He was there immediately to start the remediation. His wife, Lucy helped me with the insurance claim. He suggested some ideas to prevent it from happening again. And now my basement looks better than it ever did. I would highly recommend this company to my friends, family and everyone else!

Wow! Such a pleasure working with Artisan Construction! They turned a closet into the master bathroom. Along the way they were very clean and careful not to get drywall dust around the house. Which was important to us since we have an infant around. We were in constant communication and I never wondered what was happening. Fred even came back a couple weeks later to hang the mirror I had bought (not even part of the contract). They felt more like friends then people working on our house. HIGHLY recommend them!

Artisan replaced outside basement door as well as drain at bottom of outside stairs. The work was completely in a professional way and in a timely manner. Fred and Lucy stopped at nothing to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work completed. Would hire them again without even thinking twice.

We felt from day 1 that Artisan Construction put us first. They were very upfront with all costs (no surprises later), always on-time, and completely professional. They installed interior doors for us and enclosed a screened in porch. All projects look marvelous.

When I moved into my home a year ago, the bathroom was something from the 1970's. It was old looking and needed major work. Artisan completely remodeled my bathroom by replacing the tub with a beautiful spacious shower. They replaced the floor and painted the walls, as well as installing a new vanity. My ideas and opinions were respected. The work was completed in a timely fashion and everyone was very professional. They made sure I was satisfied with the work throughout the process.

Fred provided extensive repair to our new house following several burst pipes during the "polar vortex". He completed the project in a timely fashion and the work was done in a competent fashion. We were very pleased with the way things were handled.

For the first time in 20 years of being a homeowner and at least five (5) unsatisfactory home improvement experiences, consisting of a full basement finish, complete kitchen remodel, multiple bathroom remodels, and a patio and landscaping job, I was finally afforded an opportunity to hire and work with a professional home improvement business that met or exceeded my expectations. During the bid and request for proposal process, my wife and I interviewed nine (9) contractors within the Baltimore Washington Metro Area - Artisan Construction was the clear-cut winner. Artisan Construction began the project by ensuring they clearly understood the tasking by documenting and defining the scope of work, which was provided for our review. The project documentation contained the project task and phasing, task dates, payment schedule, photographs of the “as-is” with a description of what was going to be done, as well as daily project deliverables. Wow, I was floored and it just kept getting better! To avoid confusion, which helped solidify a great business and customer relationship, Artisan Construction maintained continual communication, arrived and departed as stated, ensured the work areas were free of debris at the end of each workday, and maintained professional courtesy from inception to conclusion – simply awesome!

Artisan Construction designed & constructed our screened in porch and deck off the back of our new home. They patiently worked with us to design exactly what we wanted. (We found their 3D computer program to be extremely helpful). They were diligent in getting the job done, and weren't satisfied with the work until we were completely satisfied. They completed the project on time, and within our agreed upon budget. Most importantly, their final product was well constructed, and continues to look beautiful, as no attention to detail was missed. Our screened in porch & deck is the most favorite part of our home!

Artisan did two different jobs for us - new roof and then new gutters and downspouts. Excellent job and thorough explanations throughout the project. Great follow-up also to make sure we were happy with the work. Discounts also for multiple jobs - great idea!
