We had a terrible experience with Basecamp Builders and the owner, David (Sensitive Information Hidden). We contracted with him to build a house for us and broke ground that summer. After getting to the drywall stage 16 months later and with winter coming, the project seemed to go dormant, and we expressed concern. He subsequently abandoned the project. We found David (Sensitive Information Hidden) to be unprofessional, unethical, and lacking in accountability. We strongly advise potential clients to seek other options when looking for a builder.

Thank you David, for giving us the best experience! Your workmanship is to notch. When we designed the cabinets, I had a vision, you not only implemented that vision, but you made it better. You quickly responded to emails and texts and adjusted the design AFTER you installed them to make it perfect. Often remodeling can be an emotionally difficult experience. It was not at all that way working with you. You always strived to make us happy and never acted put out. I cannot say enough, how you made our happiness a priority. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! We could not be happier!

Full home remodel and room addition. I would highly recommend Genesis to anyone. He did a fantastic job! My house looks absolutely amazing!

Have had to update my review (see below). David can do good work, but don't trust him .After I gave him a lot of work and several references he left me dangling after I found a marble counter for $3500 instead of $5500 (that he tried to sell me). He did about $600 damage to my place breaking a screen door and damage to floor and cabinet by a faulty plumbing hook up. He can do good work, but I wouldn't trust him. I gave him a break and that's what it got me. (Photos, email and text records, his address and bank info, all on file and available on request,). If he works for you keep a hold back bec., he doesn't guarantee his work once he's out the door. That said, our basement and bathrooms look pretty good, Good luck! ===== Here's the review I wrote about 6 months ago on another site: "David was great. He stepped into a project (home reno:4 bathrooms +) that someone else screwed up and walked out on leaving us in the lurch with family coming for extended visits. He pulled it together, fixed what had been done wrong at reasonable rates, and then finished it up on time. That meant working 6-7 days per week for about a month. When we found unexpected problems (eg rotten floor from leak) he fixed it at a fair price and still brought the project in on sched. The bathrooms look great. He also gave solid advice on purchases and design questions. He's a professional, no BS, friendly, and someone you can trust to get the job done thoroughly." Now we have him back doing the kitchen. Again, David is going the extra mile to bring the project in on a tight schedule. As always, work quality is excellent; he's personable, proactive, responsible, very professional and someone you can put full confidence in. If you've ever had a bad experience with a contractor, you will know that it's not the lowest bid that is most important, but to have someone who will do high quality work and not leave you dangling. Recommend him to all my friends and colleagues...

David did an excellent job on my ultimate garage renovation. He took a dirty and non functional garage & turned it into a 1,000 sf/ft space that is useful, classy & eye appealing. I highly recommend David Rogers.

Dave was an excellent contractor. He helped us remodel our basement level after the flood and create a new guest room, bath, created an egress window, and remodeled a powder room. He was always on time, had great ideas, was neat and well priced. He is a master contractor but was willing to take on any project large and small. He's a great guy and we would use him again in a heartbeat.

Very experienced. Has good inputs on design and materials. Collaborative during construction on decisions and revisions. They helped us create our design for an extended living room and kitchen from what had been three separate spaces . All follow-up issues were resolved without complaint and in a timely manner. We learned a great deal from GMB and we are delighted with the result and they are scheduled for our next projects! The final design was produced exactly as designed. GMB helped us understand: Always prepare a complete project description before starting. It can be modified as needed. Consider all material, appliances, fixture, and finish choices (and availability /delivery) way in advance for their installation or application. Understand delays in these decisions will impact the final completion date and progress GMB excelled at design help, finishes, carpentry, setting cabinets and appliances. They used excellent sub contractors when needed.
