Mike and the team at Blue Pine were fantastic in renovating my 100+ year-old farmhouse. This was a challeging project with lots of uncertainty about what we would find after tearing out years of "insulation" made up of cardboard, newspaper, wood chips and more. Bad plumbing and patched up electrical lines added to the excitement of the project. There was a lot of wood rot and water damage in the exterior framing and one area of the house had no foundation! All of these surprises were handled with creative ways of staying on budget but promising a final product that was acceptable to me. Responsiveness and good communications were available throughout the project. I am very happy with the outcome and do not hesitate to recommend this local company.

We reached out to Blue Pine based on a recommendation from a friend and we are SO grateful we did. We were hoping to build onto our house but with a tri-level, we weren’t sure how or if it would work. When Mike and his team came to our house for an initial consult, not only did they explain possibilities that would be feasible for our space and address how to make some of our requests happen, but their estimate came in lower than we expected and we were able to add on an additional part to our project. In the end, we added onto our master bedroom, built a master bathroom and walk-in closet, expanded our lower level living space and added a bedroom, and added on a three season sunroom. Because the project stayed within the initial budget, we ended up adding new floors across the whole house and a concrete patio in our backyard as well. As if the scope of our project wasn’t big enough, Blue Pine accommodated our pregnancy and moved up the entire project deadline by several months to complete it by the time we had our baby. That speaks to their professionalism, ability to meet deadlines, work within the confines of our budget, and their overall character as humans. They were communicative and supportive throughout. Honestly, we loved everything about Blue Pine and will not only use them for any future projects we have, but also recommend them to anyone else looking for construction or house projects. Six years ago, owner Mike Bockelman was personally involved in the design and construction of our second-story redwood deck for our foothills home. He was meticulous about details and quality, offered creative ideas to accommodate a nearby setback limitation, made sure to minimize any impact on the view from my existing lower level studio, and built a deck to enjoy for the rest of our lives. We use the deck daily and often wonder why we took so many years to have it built! It has been great to follow the growth of Blue Pine Construction since we worked together on the project in 2017. We recently contacted Mike about a modification to the deck and he was extremely responsive to our needs. Knowing we had a time constraint to make the change, he picked up tools and personally worked on the deck construction with another crew member, seeing the project through to the final stages. #Obsessed! Salvation has come to my kitchen and I couldn't be happier! After their incredible work on my bathroom remodel last year, I simply had to have Blue Pine come back post-haste to work their magic on my 40 year old kitchen! Blue Pine's team includes a professional and respectful crew that works swiftly and efficiently with care. This team is led up by Mike and Lorilyn, who helped me every single step of the way. They were both very patient as they walked me through all of the decisions that needed to be made -- cabinet types, flooring, countertops, color, fixtures, backsplash and all other finishes.
