How extremely lucky were we to have Bolt Construction look after our renovation!! Bolt had recently completed a complete condo renovation for friends of ours and throughout their project our friends had nothing but praise for Bolt. When we decided to make a surprise move next door in our buildings, there was no question that we would contact Alex at Bolt. Fortunately for us they had an opening and from that point we had the best possible experience with the Bolt Construction team. All of the knowledgeable crew were reliable, polite and always willing to accommodate our needs. We love our completely renovated home. From start to finish we felt confident that's all aspects of the renovation were handled professionally, with regular updates on progress and on budget. The entire Bolt crew was a real pleasure to work with and we would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone considering a renovation.

We hired Bolt Construction for a kitchen, master bathroom, and master bedroom remodel. They provided us with a detailed estimate up front and worked with our architect to help us refine the design and keep costs under control without sacrificing quality. We've been very happy with the results of the remodel. It has transformed our home and the quality of the work is as good today as when the work was initially done. The Bolt team was very communicative with us and was always professional while on the site as were their subcontractors. When there were problems, Bolt made it right. We've used Bolt for some smaller projects since this major remodel and continue to recommend them.

The ADU project came out exactly as we had hoped. Taras was great at communication, very prompt- he came early to appointments, quoted accurately and got approval for any changes. The workers were very friendly and worked hard and fast, and discussed what was going on. Definitely would use again and recommend to friends and family.

I highly recommend Alex Tsymbalyuk from Bolt Construction for any home remodeling project especially when trying to make more efficient use of the space in an older house. Alex helped us do just that with so many smart ideas. First, his team designed a completely new, modern master bathroom and a large walk-in closet in an under utilized area of the bedroom. Our original bathroom and closet were both so tiny so we are very thankful for their design skills and vision in this space. Picking out the tiles, cabinets, and fixtures was not easy for me but the team narrowed down the options for us and made it less time-consuming and less stressful. They also conquered a challenging basement remodel where we wanted to remove textured walls and ceilings and add recessed lights to make the space more usable. Alex's team also came up with innovative techniques to make this happen and added closet and an office and now our basement is a much-used extension of our house and not a storage area. Alex and his team were all great to work with and we are still so happy with all the updates years later! Highly recommended!

Bolt Construction was outstanding from start to finish. They treated my home with respect and the project was completed on time and within budget. Some minimal hiccups along the way but they handled and addressed them. Not sure how this could have gone better.

After interviewing close to 20 or so companies, we decided to give Bolt a try for our home addition project. Before the contract was signed, the owner was responsive and was willing to answer all our questions. He provided a few referrals and we ended up only be able to speak to one. However, the review was for a kitchen remodel and not home addition. After the contract was signed and deposit was paid, the owner and project manager realized land surveys are required before architectural design. Unfortunately, this was revealed right in front of our eyes when the architect came to meet us and only found out no land surveying was done so he could not know the buildable area for his drawing. Not only this was a complete waste of our time, we realized they are inexperienced and tried to cover up by saying there were updates in city regulations only AFTER the contract was signed. Worse yet, they came back with $10K~ extra cost and said the land survey expenses wasn't included in the quote and they needed the extra fund to proceed with our project. We decided to not go forward with Bolt because not only they are inexperienced, they overturned what they promised on all expenses included in the quote upon contract signing. We requested for a full refund on our deposit but the owner claimed they have filed tax and the 10% is non-refundable. He later stressed that this is a company policy which was never mentioned anywhere in the contract or made known to us. First of all, deposits are never taxable but they claimed they filed tax for it which completely did not make sense to us. Second, instead of fixing their tax filing mistake with Department of Revenue they made us pay for their mistakes by not refunding us the 10% back. We immediately consulted a friend who is a tax expert on what to do and was told that we could claim the tax back ourselves if they did file it. We then sent the owner a form we got from the Department of Revenue website and asked him to fill in his part. After days of chasing, instead of filling the form he wrote us a check for the 10% balance he did not want to refund at the first place. This proved that they lied about the whole tax filing thing. Potential buyers aware: My experience is a living proof that the owner can't be trusted. He is ready to make excuses, be unresponsive and tell lies to not refund your money. I cannot recommend this company to anyone if you care about working with someone with integrity, and who has the right experience for your project.

Alex and his teams were amazing. Our master bath remodel turned out just the way we wanted, and, in a timely manner, on budget and right on schedule. Alex does such a great job communicating which makes him a true gem in his field. He was always one step ahead of me and I was never left with unanswered questions or problems. I look forward to next year when we will be using them again for our kitchen! I highly recommend Bolt Construction.

My husband and I decided to renovate our kitchen. After getting some estimates, we decided to choose Bolt construction. This job included removing a wall, two fireplaces, all cabinets, countertops and appliances and then installing new fireplace, cabinets, quartz waterfall island, quartz countertops and backsplash. Every construction project has some hiccups here and there, ultimately it's the end products that count. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and fireplace. The quartz for the island was cut and installed wonderfully. Wow factors are definitely there. An incremental payment schedule was provided. All changes during the project were itemized and approved by us prior to work. We paid as various stages of the work were completed. Overall, We are happy with the way our kitchen turned out and we could not be more pleased with Bolt Construction and all the products of their team's work.

Working with Alex and Vladimir was great, after visiting their location and meeting the staff I felt very comfortable with my decision to remodel. The process wasn't always easy but Vladimir and his crew made it easy for us to live in the home during construction. The workers were very polite and the projects were completed on time and I couldn't be happier.

This is one of the best and honest contractors you can hire and I personally would recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right.

This is the second major project in a year's time where we have used BOLT. The first project was the total renovation of two bathrooms. They both were beautifully finished. The second project was the addition of a large screen porch on the rear of the house. The room is 22' X 22'. It has porcelain tile floors, ceiling fans, and can lights on a cathedral ceiling. Alex is very much a professional who stays in close contact with the owners. We recommended him to a neighbor who had him remodel a bathroom. They also were very satisfied.

I highly recommend Bolt Construction and will certainly use them again in the future. They were fantastic while renovating my kitchen. They were quick to respond to each and every one of my questions and/or requests and I had a lot as I had never done this before. They were always professional, courteous, accommodating and most importantly - honest with me throughout the process. And best of all.... they finished ON SCHEDULE as they stated they would.
