Adam was recommended to us to do our kitchen renovation by Melissa at Canterbury Kitchens in Morristown. She did the design and he did the demo, install, painting, woodwork etc. We can't say enough good things about the workmanship and professionalism of Adam and the people who worked for him. The project was done on time and on budget (we added some extra work along the way which he did without issue). Every day when he left, we knew what was happening the next day and it was left clean and orderly. We already have asked Adam to do other projects for us as we were so happy with the work he did in our kitchen and how it turned out. So many people have asked who we used and we are more than happy to pass out his information!

Briant Contracting was referred to us by Canterbury Design for the installation and general contract management of a complete kitchen remodel. Our experience could not have been any better! Adam Briant and his team delivered everything on time, to specification, on budget, and with an exacting attention to detail. We ultimately expanded the original scope of the project to include additional indoor and outdoor space, with excellent results as well. Beyond the quality of the work, we were also very pleased with the professionalism of Adam and his crew. They were all exceptionally courteous to our family and respectful of our home. At the completion of each work day all work areas were clean and orderly, and we were made aware of what would be taking placed the following day. The lack of "surprises" was a wonderful "surprise!" Completing this project on time was a primary concern... we host the family Thanksgiving Dinner, and demolition began on October 15th! On November 27th 20 family members enjoyed a perfect Thanksgiving meal!!! Little more needs to be said!

Adam Briant was the general contractor and carpenter for our luxury kitchen remodel. His initial quotes were competitive, detailed and complete. Despite a long time from quote to start of work, he honored his quotes and did not exceed them. The work involved framing, installing cabinets, crown molding, coffered ceiling, building of a new hood over the old one, painting as well as coordination, supervision with his plumbers and electricians. There was a lot of detailed, custom carpentry work. Adam was very easy to work with and ran the overall job very well and on time. He worked well with all the other people on the job. He used electricians and plumbers he has used on other jobs. They all cleaned up nicely each day. Adam is very experienced carpenter and kitchen installer. He Involved us in all the key decisions and his detailed knowledge mattered in many parts of the job. The quality of his work is outstanding. If one is installing custom cabinets, one needs a quality carpenter to install them and do all the supporting work. All the custom work, fine details and quality paint job make for a custom job. The coffers on the ceiling run about 20 feet no seams very visible at completion of the job and none are visible 10 months later as we write this review. The crown on the cabinets, toe on the bottom and edging to the walls are all "custom" fits. The old kitchen has a stainless hood that was the best we have ever had. We wanted to keep its function but did not want the stainless look. So Adam built a "new" hood over the old ones. It was much less expensive than a new hood from Wood-mode and is beautiful. The job also involved installing a dozen slate tiles within the existing kitchen floor. We had these from the original construction but they no longer looked the same as the ones on the floor. Adam, was able to get them to match so the new ones cannot be detected within the old ones. There were many items like this during the job. It pays top have someone who knows how to deal with them.

Adam Briant installed my new kitchen island, complete with new sink, dishwasher, microwave, granite counttop and walnut eating area and replaced an outside door. He is professional, timely, and skilled. He emailed the bill prior to the services so I knew exactly what it would cost; there were no surprises at the end. At the end of each day he informed me where we were in the project and what would happen next. He left a clean and neat workplace each day and came back to finish the job on time. I would certainly hire him again for additional carpentry and home repair projects.

Adam and his team worked on several major projects in our house, including fully remodeling 2 bathrooms, a large studio addition to our house (from excavation and foundation to all finishing), and extensive work in our kitchen and family room (including custom carpentry work). We've always been extremely pleased with his honesty, quality of work, scheduling, and overall professionalism, and have recommended him to many friends who also hired his services. Adam always starts the day with a positive attitude and a good mood, is well prepared ahead of time with all materials, manages very well his subcontractor schedules and all inspection requirements, and always cleans the job site before leaving. Even in busy and complex phases of a project, his work style and discipline results in minimal disruption to our family life. He's also proven to be highly trustworthy at all times.

Adam renovated two bathrooms for us, our master bath and a powder room. He completed the project on time and on budget as promised. He is very professional and "hands on", and his subcontractors (demolition, sheet rock, plumber and electrician) all did excellent work under his supervision. The renovations required a complete gut of both rooms, new sheet rock, electrical, radiant floor heating, plumbing and tile, as well as installation of solar tubes in the shower ceiling. The entire project was done to our complete satisfaction. He is meticulous about the quality of his work and participated personally in all aspects of the renovation. All work was done to our exact specifications. Upon completion, we were very happy that he left everything clean and tidy. We plan on using him again in the future and would highly recommend him to others.

Briant General Contracting has completed two jobs for us, our kitchen and our master bath, and we couldn't be happier with the final products. They are very professional and always stay within the budget you request. Adam always understands what it is you are trying to accomplish and helps you reach that goal with ideas and answers......he is also a very talented carpenter. He works with quality companies that are trustworthy, that you feel comfortable having in your home. I would definitely hire Briant General Contracting again.
