It was a pleasure working with Dave, Ryan and crew from Britton Homes. Dave had told me during our first meeting that they would be prompt with communication. He was true to his word. Often times he or Ryan would respond within the hour. They are a little pricey, which Dave also told me from the start, but you get what you pay for! The quality of work was exceptional!

We are SO happy we ended up working with Britton Homes. We absolutely recommend using them for your home renovation projects. We were very impressed with all aspects of the work, but here are a few highlights. We used them for a full kitchen / dining room remodel, with a mudroom addon. Besides what you would expect from a kitchen remodel, the work also included enclosing our breezeway and adding new footings to expand the footprint of the house. Length of project: about 4.5 months (final timing was only like a week behind the original schedule, which if you ask us was a month ahead of our expectations). Professionalism / Customer service: The folks at Britton are fantastic and they seem to have found the best folks in the field. Every person we met (from the day-to-day project manager, to the lead builder on site every day, to every subcontractor brought in (plumbing, electrical, etc) were all just great folks. Good people doing a good job. They were attentive to every single question, comment, and update we threw at them. Cost: In the initial conversations, Britton indicated that the way they do business was to do a very thorough scoping of the project and then the “estimate” provided is the number you pay, unless you change the scope. This was a huge selling point for us after hearing so many horror stories about contractors. As we went through the work, they would reach out with things that we should consider and how much additional it would cost. We said yes to some ideas, no to others. The final bill came and it was the exact amount agreed upon plus the amounts agreed to as we went. While not the lowest cost bid we received, having the certainty of the cost was great. Quality: We are very happy with the result. We’ve been living in our updated house for a couple months now and we haven’t had any issues. Everything is of excellent quality and looking like a million bucks. We are so proud to show off our new kitchen area to everyone we know. In summary, we give Britton 10 out of 10 stars. We’ve used Britton for various remodels over the past 10plus years. Most recently they renovated our basement , deck & screened in porch. They are a pleasure to work with. They stick to timelines & follow up to will fix any issues along the way. They & their subcontractors are courteous and provide quality work.

Working with Britton on our large renovation was a fantastic experience. Throughout the project, their communication was exceptional—whether it was regarding estimates, timelines, or change orders. They treated our home with care and made the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible. For example, they created a separate temporary entrance for the work crews, minimizing disruptions outside the work area. Their pricing was fair and transparent, and they worked with us to find alternative solutions when it became clear that our plans were exceeding our budget. Most importantly, the quality of the work, both from their crew and the subcontractors they hired, was outstanding, and the project turned out beautifully. We look forward to working with Britton again on future renovations.

We have worked with Britton Homes on two projects and plan to work with them again if we have any future projects. They were amazing to work with (and we have worked with other contractors before). From the very start, we felt comfortable with them. They made excellent suggestions and were always available to talk if we had questions or concerns. They did a complete kitchen renovation for us in 2020 which we still love every day and a mudroom add on / living room renovation in 2023. We loved that they were very clear with communication, including a shared google calendar which was updated regularly and that we could text the project manager at any time and he was super responsive. We recommended them to a friend of ours who had a very large renovation project and she was also thrilled with their work.

David and Ryan have helped us with several remodels. We did a major kitchen renovation and a den remodel. We've worked with other contractors but think Britton Homes is the best. Their work is high quality and they are super communicative about the project status. They are also creative and very accommodating. We still love our kitchen and it's great to work from home in my updated den.

The Britton Homes team is fantastic. I would work with them again in a heartbeat (in fact I plan to in the future!). They plan well, they communicate well, they are professional, kind, and thoughtful. They gave me some excellent advice on tweaks to my plan that I am extremely grateful for. They take your home as seriously as if it were their home that they were going to live in. They are detail-oriented and proud of the quality of their work. The subcontractors they work with for specific elements of the work (tile, painting, electrical, etc), have the same attitude and approach. The team also takes your wallet seriously - with honesty about the real cost of things and the places were it does and does NOT make sense to save money if you need to. I will also say - especially as a woman - that they never made me feel stupid for not knowing something. They were always happy to explain, which has not been my experience in the past. Don't bother getting quotes from other contractors - just work with Patrick, Dave, Ryan, and the rest of the Britton Homes team.

From start to finish, the Britton crew was on top of everything. They started on time, were very respectful of the fact that we were still living in the house while the renovation was in process. Any issues were resolved quickly.The crew made sure to come in to say good morning to us, especially our dog who loved the attention. The reno area was kept clean as they progressed. While we were thrilled to have our home back when they finished, we were very pleased with the results. We would happily recommend Britton Homes.

Highly recommended! Our kitchen renovation was a full-gut including knocking down a load-bearing wall and opening up the first floor. Any problems that came up was immediately resolved. We feel the remodel should be in better homes and gardens. It turned out beautiful! Jim,Ryan and John were a pleasure to work with. Very professional, organized and responsive during the entire project. Will call them for future projects.

This guy was great, and he didn't fix my unit. He was one of 10 contractors I called when the first two didn't even show up for the estimate. He took the time to call back, let me know that they could do the work, but that others could do it cheaper, and gave me their name. Who does that anymore?

We engaged Britton Homes to perform a substantial renovation of our kitchen. The work included replacement of all countertops, backsplashes, the entire kitchen island, almost all appliances and the "guts" of all drawers - the frames, sliders and hinges. This company was very sensitive to making sure that their performance met our expectations. They were attentive to letting us know when any hitches or unanticipated decisions came up and making sure that we approved of any changes. In the end, there were no surprises with the quality of the work (superior!) or the final price. Britton would be the first company we call in the event of any future work.

Patrick and his team at Britton Homes are awesome. They were flexible and patient with us about the scope of the project, which we changed a few times as our plans came together. They were clear about what they could and could not provide, and everything they did came in on time (or earlier than expected) and on budget. Patrick is creative and responsive, and everyone who worked on the project was friendly, skilled, and careful in terms of Covid safety precautions. The project came out beautifully. This is our second project with Britton Homes, and we would recommend them to anyone.
