Chris has done some great projects over the years I have worked with him. He gets involved with the clients to understand what they are trying to achieve and help them achieve it. He has a team of subcontractors who do quality work on the job and that makes a huge difference also.

We hired Brookside Custom Homes/Chris Donnelly as the general contractor for our new home. The best measure of a contractor is whether you would hire him again. Well, we have already recommended him to friends, and if we ever build another home, we would hire him again. It took about one year to complete our home, and we found Chris to be honest, a calming presence, and extremely pleasant to work with. He was cognizant of and respected our budget, and any overages (which were maybe 7%) were due to changes we intentionally made. And, his work is of the highest quality. We couldn't be happier with our home. Chris doesn't disappear after the construction is complete - he is there for the long haul and has been very responsive as issues have arisen. Chris is a breath of fresh air in the construction industry!

I am more than satisfied with the service, quality, and professionalism of Chris Donnelly, and the Brookside Custom Home team. Chris executed the total renovation of my unit at Park Place on Peachtree, and the end result is exactly what I had hoped for. Chris was readily available to answer any questions, receptive to any changes I requested, and eager to make sure that I was pleased at each stage of the project. Chris worked very well with the building staff and engineers, to make sure renovation construction met all property guidelines. Chris Donnelly and his team handled 2 major projects for us: one involved installing transom windows across the back of our mid-Century modern home which involved not only installing a large header above both fixed and sliding glass doors, but Sheetrock and Hardi-board repair, interior/exterior painting and electrical work to move lighting. The second was a large Whole yard Hardscape renovation which involved (in addition to demolition) regrading, concrete installation incl pool coping and an accent wall, fencing, Trex decking, drainage, an outdoor fireplace and a fountain. We couldn't be more pleased with the results, the quality of the work and the professionalism he and his workers demonstrated. We've already referred them to most everyone we know! We wouldn't use anyone else.

Brookside performed a bathroom remodeling job for us. The company was responsive, prompt and professional. The final product was as "perfect" as our budget would allow.

Brookside builders built our house four years ago. We chose this company not only because of the excellent work they had done on other homes, but because they were knowledgable, professional and we were very comfortable with their manner and approach to building. The attention to detail was exemplary, and if there ever was a problem or change request, it was taken care of without question. Chris is smart and creative. We communicated daily and he always responded quickly to calls and emails. We are very pleased with the way our beautiful home turned out. We would use Brookside again if we needed a builder for a large or small project.
