Build Mackey is a licensed luxury residential general contractor based in Westlake Village, California. We specialize in high-end custom homes and whole-home remodels, projects that require a level of coordination, craftsmanship, and client partnership that most contractors aren't built for. We work on a cost-plus model with full financial transparency. Every subcontractor invoice is visible to the owner. Our fee is fixed at contract. No surprises, no hidden margin just a clear process that puts the client in control of their budget from day one. Every project is led by our principal, Devin Mackey, from pre-construction through closeout. We bring a dedicated superintendent and project manager to every job, and we take on a select number of projects each year so every client gets our full attention. Our work spans Westlake Village, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Lake Sherwood, Malibu, and Pacific Palisades. Projects range from $500K whole-home remodels to $6M+ custom homes. We work closely with architects and interior designers as a true partner on the project team not just a contractor who shows up after the plans are done.
