Chateau Construction

We hired Chateau Construction to build a gas fireplace surround and a patio cover. From the beginning to end of the projects Tyler and his crew stayed on schedule and did a great job. I have a siding project coming up this summer on another house and we’re hoping to use Tyler and his team for that as well.

Tyler was my general contractor to upgrade my house overlooking the lake in Coeur D Alene in 2013. He replaced all the windows in the late 70s vintage house, replaced the living room windows with 18 foot long bi-folding glass doors built by Nanawall, replaced the soffits adding spark resistant vents, added a standby power generator, rerouted some propane lines and propane tank, upgraded the house electrical panel, and modified my balcony including a new stairs to the outdoor patio. Tyler and his team did a great job. Much got defined after the initial work started. I’m very happy with the workmanship. Tyler was easy to work with. Tyler later did final assembly on my Solardome geodesic dome greenhouse next to my house.

We purchased an older home and decided to remodel. We attempted to contact numerous contractors with little to no response. It was becoming frustrating until receiving a recommendation from a close friend for Tyler at Chateau Construction. Not only did he return my call same day, but showed up on time for the scheduled evaluation and provided a detailed layout of the job, cost and estimated start-time within days. Once the job started, his crew showed up on time and were polite, friendly and professional through the entire job. Additionally, they were very flexible in accommodating a mid-job design change. They worked until the job was done and never once left me hanging for days or weeks while working on a different project. At the end of each day, they completely clean up after themselves, including vacuuming my carpet. There was never a time when I felt awkward or uncomfortable with his crew inside my home. The completed job was absolutely outstanding, better than I could have ever imagined. It's impossible to tell that there was an expansion and we are thrilled with the results. Several month later we contacted Tyler to design and build a shop. Again, every detail went exactly as planned and our incredibly huge shop went up in record time. We have called Tyler and Chateau Construction several more times for smaller jobs and received the same professional treatment and outstanding workmanship. Tyler and Chateau Construction will always be our “Go To” guys for any home projects we want in the future.

Tyler, owner of Chateau Construction, is an upstanding and honest human being. He takes pride in his business, and character is very important. I wouldn’t hesitate to use his team or refer them to my friends and clients.

Tyler and his team are amazing! They did a speedy professional job. We hired him to rebuild the framing and paint after we had our rolling door replaced when it broke. They did such a great job you can not tell that anything ever happened. I highly recommend them to anyone. Tyler is very talented. His vast knowledge of many areas of construction goes far beyond his years. He works with excellence, cares about the home owners vision, cleans up after himself, and is a hard worker. He created a beautiful remodel that turned the house into a high end home. I would recommend him for small and large projects.
