We looked for a contractor for quite some time. We clicked with IIan immediately. IIan took care to review the project, visiting with us twice before we hired him. No nonsense, no drama, no Taj Mahal recommendations, just sensible pros delivering quality work at a fair price. The Chicago Constructions team checked in with us often to confirm details, even those that others might have deemed small, but it all added up to make our new kitchen even more than we hoped. And that’s saying something. I had drawn the kitchen at least 100 times and saved for years to pay for it. In other words, I had high expectations, maybe higher than our budget would allow, but Alberto, Lorenzo, and Miquel, who were on site most often, exceeded them daily. We found ourselves missing them once the project was done. Great work, responsible, responsive, and genuinely nice crew. Good guys all around. Heck, they were even nice to our dog. We would hire them again.

Chicago Constructions recently did a great job on a complicated project involving replacing a stone fireplace wall. They always have workers available and make it easy on the homeowner. If supplies are needed, they'll go to the hardware store to pick them up for you. They have the expertise to direct complex projects.

Ilan @ CHICAGO CONSTRUCTIONS was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was straight forward, transparent and also reasonable at pricing. Although he had to put a lot more hours that initially anticipated but he owned the job and got it done with no complaints or changing his initial quote. His communication was also top notch and he kept me informed during the process of the work. In my experience he's been one of the very few people in this field that I can confidently recommend to others for their projects.

Chicago Constructions has always had the highest professional standards each time we have done projects with them, and we have done MANY between two homes. They are always on time, work consistently throughout each day and clean up well after each project is finished. We used Chicago constructions for a complete basement renovation. I can not recommend Ilan and his crew enough. They were thorough, meticulous and polite. They showed up on time every day and left the place tidy each evening. They were so easy to work with and we are incredibly happy with the work they did.

My experience with Chicago Constructions was excellent and I highly recommend them. Had a new shower installed and, having no prior experience of my own, Ilan guided me through it keeping that in mind as well as the budget. I found myself in an aisle in Home Depot being introduced to all the wonderful wall and shower tiles I dreamed of! This was fun as well as educational! The installer was fantastic and spent long hours making it perfect. In 4 1/2 days I had a new shower and knew it was extremely well done. No shortcuts, good communication, quality work with high end products. If you need any work done, even beyond showers, I highly recommend you call Chicago Constructions. You won't be disappointed!

Ilan and his team have completed 2 projects for me. The first was Oct 2021: I was in a horrible place after my new construction business flooded and drywall, plumbing, flooring and cabinetry had to be removed due to city sewer backup. After working with my landlords, insurance, and the building HOA, I was still on the hook for a significant amount for repairs. Ilan met me the day after I called and got his team started on the project almost immediately. His guys are professional, efficient, and hardworking. You cannot go wrong with this team. I am so grateful with how they helped me during this difficult period. And that I was able to get back to business! I will definitely use them again should the need arise. The 2nd project was for my home, summer 2022. His team came and repaired our etched and detailed glass shower door for a fraction of the price a glass door store quoted me. Our railing had come off and we were told we would have to replace the entire glass door for a substandard quality and a significant cost and that the railing could not be fixed. Ilan's team came and fixed the railing within a few hours. The also made repairs throughout my home, including but not limited to: concrete stairs sealing, painting, re-sealing the shower and replacing fixtures. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He is reliable, transparent, and easy to get a hold of. I have had horrible experiences working with contractors, so his team is like a breath of fresh air. They will do the work until it is complete and done to your satisfaction.
