Working with everyone at cMAC was a real pleasure. They were professional, detailed and very responsive. The communication was excellent. Our build had challenges but they figured things out and kept the project moving and on schedule. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Chris Welch and cMAC did an excellent job remodeling our house. The project was very challenging, but Chris and his team made it look easy. They are extremely professional, honest and knowledgeable which resulted in high quality remodel. Their attention to detail is impeccable. Chris of cMac was instrumental in getting our building permit which had been in process for five months before he stepped in. He and his staff are a pleasure to work with. Framing will begin soon and we are happy!

We are in the process of having a custom home built for us by cMAC . Chris Welch is the owner and we have found him to be professional, honest and totally into the details. He and his superintendent, Mike, are thorough and so caring about our current and future needs. The work is superb - they are truly perfectionists and we look so forward to living in this beautiful home for the rest of our lives. We have viewed other homes they have built and are very impressed with the interiors, exteriors and their attention to detail.

Our project was a major remodel, demolition of small bungalow, retaining two foundation walls; Seattle building department called it new construction. The house proposal was put out to bid and we interviewed 7 companies; 3 companies made the final cut for more comprehensive interview. Chris Welch of cMAC was impressive in his presentation of his understanding of the scope of our plans and budget and for his professional approach to the project and interactions with us. The completion of the house construction was done in less than a year. The scheduling of each component, demolition to final sign-off was well-organized. The construction subs were uniformly excellent. and the individuals we worked with on the interior finishes spent considerable time to help us make great selections and stay on budget. Throughout the construction and completion of the project, Chris met with us weekly to discuss progress and next steps. On several occasions during construction, we asked about making some changes in the design plan, and Chris worked with us to achieve the changes. He also took initiative to discuss several changes with us, e.g. redesigning the master bath shower footprint, that improved the flow and function of the space. Any concerns or problems (and they were few) were managed quickly and with a positive outcome. We give our highest recommendation to cMAC and will speak to any of his prospective clients. In short: a great job done on time, on budget, and with great communication and record keeping. Highly recommended. (pictures show completed porch, while interior construction continued) -------- We love our location, but needed a bit more space. Our 1940's rambler needed a master bedroom/bathroom, laundry room, more storage and a covered porch/entry way to make it more livable. We wanted it all to scale with the original 1300sf house, while still being useful. After vetting a number of contractors, we chose cMAC to do our addition/remodel. Chris worked with us and the drafting designer to create the spaces we wanted. He had thoughtful and very valuable suggestions regarding placement and spacing for making our ideas work. (He even went far above and beyond what was expected, by negotiating with a tree removal service I'd hired which didn't follow through on completing stump removal--- Ugh! In retrospect, I wish I'd had cMAC manage the tree removal, too.) Diane facilitated communication by providing regularly updated schedule of values, and made billing a breeze. Mike, the supervisor, was a pleasure to work with, and took time to explain the pro's and con's of various materials. All the sub's brought in did quality work, and were respectful of us and our home. The final product is just what we were hoping it would be. Three years later, we still LOVE it--especially our space efficient master bath with zero entry shower and lots of natural light. Chris, Mike and Diane were a pleasure to work with, and do quality work. cMAC is an outstanding company.

I had an excellent experience with cMAC! Chris (the owner) was very professional, as were his project superintendents. We were very thankful for his help in the overall design of the project. Rather than have the architect try to translate our ideas, Chris took a very active role in the design, assuring that the finished product was what we were expecting.
