After interviewing several local contractors, Carroll Construction quickly emerged as our top choice, because of its founder and GC, Michael Carroll. As other reviewers here noted, he is a superb problem solver. He is not only skillful and knowledgeable based on his years of experience in construction and home remodel, but he also distinguishes himself from other contractor for his ability to be attentive and considerate for client’s unique needs. Michael was always available and dependable for every small or big challenges in the entire process of our project, despite his incredibly busy and hectic schedule. His candor, humility, professionalism and diligence were remarkable. Furthermore, he is well regarded among his business associates. It is quite refreshing and reassuring to see how everyone enjoys working with him because of all these qualities that we directly witnessed in him. Lastly, we appreciated his dry yet cheeky Irish sense of humor which gave us a much needed comic relief in this otherwise stressful process. His crews were also very friendly, respectful and mindful of the details and kept our site very clean always, especially out of consideration for our son’s respiratory allergy. We felt truly fortunate to have an opportunity to work with Michael and his team. Without any doubt, we always highly recommend him to anyone for a big or small project. Mike Carroll and his team did a fantastic job! We needed to rip out and replace a custom-built sliding glass door with windows on the side and a transom across the top. It was a bit of a tricky job because everything was custom. Mike is a great problem solver, very attentive to detail, and we couldn't be happier with the final results!

Michael and his team are a dream to work with. We hired him in the fall of 2017 to do a project on our home that included a demo and renovation of our master bath, knocking down a kitchen wall, redoing the floor, counters & appliances in the kitchen, updating the plumbing and electrical throughout most of the house, re-tiling and updating a second bath, removing wall paper and painting the entire house (and more!). He agreed to complete the project in the very short window I gave him (6 weeks), even after I continuously added to it. He gave me a clear and itemized quote that he stuck to precisely, never going over budget. The site was clean and organized throughout the duration of the project. On top of his professionalism, hard work and beautiful execution of the project, he was lovely to work with throughout and couldn’t have been more accommodating, kind and easy going. Hire him if you have the opportunity!

Michael was the contractor on our kitchen and bathroom projects. I have worked with a number of contractors over the years and Michael was easily the best I ever hired. I would hire him for any future project. He and his crew were always professional and did great work.

Mike Carroll has been hired as the builder by a few of our clients and in all cases, he has delivered an exceptional product that has delighted us and our clients.
