If you want to hire someone who cares as much as you do about your project, and knows more about your options than you do, Robert Besinger is the guy! What we appreciated the most was that not only was he on top of every aspect of the job, but all the subcontractors were just as perfectionistic as he was. Everyone he works with has been with him for years. They were all polite, professional, clean, organized, and experts in their fields. I never had to point out any problems. Either problems were prevented in the first place, or he found them and fixed them first. His prices were fair and reasonable, and never changed, even when he encountered a problem he had not anticipated. He made good on every promise, and always delivered more than he promised. He was on time, on budget, and an absolute joy to work with. We recommend him, without reservation, 1000%! Update: I have had an incredible amount of issues with my refrigerator. It was replaced in the first year, after 9 repairs to the ice maker. Since then I've had 17 repairs on the new refrigerator. Despite repeated requests, and even a letter from a lawyer, I could not get my refrigerator replaced. Robert saw the state of my refrigerator two weeks ago, made ONE phone call, and I am getting a new refrigerator on Tuesday! I have NEVER seen such a dedicated general contractor - I could not get my pool remodel guy to come back ONE WEEK after he supposedly "finished" the project, but Robert came back and FIXED THIS ISSUE after 5 years - he's AMAZING!!!

A good friend & neighbor highly recommended Robert & CBC Team for the remodeling of our master bathroom in our Agoura home in 2008. We interviewed 4 different contractors & Robert immediately stood out from the pack. We were wowed by Robert's design expertise & his commitment to work within our finite budget. We contacted at least 4 of his references and each one was truly outstanding! When our master bathrooom renovation was completed on time, on budget, and as promised, we gave Robert an AmEx gift card to express our sincere appreciation of his excellent work. In 2013, when we moved into a townhouse in Westlake Village that desperately needed remodeling of the kitchen & master bathroom, Robert was the only GC we considered hiring. Robert & his CBC Team renovated our kitchen, family room, and master bathroom in 2 months & we're thrilled with the outcome! In fact, we like our townhouse more than our home because it has Robert's special and unique touch throughout. While a lot of people we know don't like their contractors, we think the world of Robert and would only undertake a major remodeling project with CBC. If I could give a rating of more than 5 stars to Robert & CBC, I would!

I was petrified to remodel my outdated late 70’s house. My fear was fueled by the horror stories of countless friends whose lives and homes were wrecked by shady contractors. Thankfully I met Robert Bessinger who breaks the mold of every cliché you’ve ever heard about his profession. In early 2013, we moved out of our home and within three and a half months we had a gorgeous, updated new house as well as a kitchen twice the size it used to be. Robert was extremely dependable about meeting deadlines, honest about potential problems and a perfectionist in the quality he desired in all aspects of our remodeling project. Our communication was open and I felt I could call or text him anytime of the day or night. I cannot tell you how many of his subcontractors told me “he was not like the others” and was “one of the best.” Working with Robert and his staff erased my substantial fears about remodeling and construction. If I bought or built a second home tomorrow, he is the only person I would consider hiring.

having never hired a contractor before i was given two names by my highly respected interior designer and one from a friend who had used robert twice before. i went with the word of mouth and how thankful i am! robert was exactly as others have described...timely, helpful, the first to insist it should be done as i see it not as he or his subs do and most importantly to get it done right! when opportunities presented themselves or issues occurred (even though i paid dearly for bathroom plans so as to NOT have issues arise!) robert made suggestions or recommendations... hovered for me at the tile store to help me sort out my much delayed tile ... and proceeded to help me get the job done with no change of work order or increase in fees. there were also a number of things robert saw on his own that he wanted to improve the design with (extra light in shower niche in wall for towel cubby) and again .. no change to the cost of the project. when the tile delays might have caused weeks and weeks of downtime..robert shifted the order of work to be done so as to keep moving on the much needed to be met deadline.the bathroom is stunning... really better than i hoped... and i cant wait to hire CBC to redo my kitchen. I am thrilled to share this review with others so they might experience such a great outcome and funny thing is ...once i started my work and happily offered up roberts name to friends.. come to find out he did quite a number of my friends and acquaintances remodel work but they never bothered to share that info with me! thankfully one other happy customer did and i hope many more follow from my great experience and accolades to robert and his team!

Robert and his company, Complete Building Concepts, knocked it out of the park with every detail of our reconstruction. Professional workmanship, customer focused, on time and at budget are just a few of the elements we were so impressed with. What stood out the most, was their follow up and follow through well after the job was completed. These attributes led us to refer Complete Building Concepts to several other satisfied customers.

Robert Besinger is just the best general contractor of my experience. He took a real estate nightmare other GCs turned down and built us our own little paradise. He dealt with everything in a timely, professional manner and was always available by phone if I had questions or problems, big or small. I trust his knowledge and expertise thoroughly, in fact next up is our major addition!

Robert has done three projects for me, and he has completely exceeded my expectations each time, (which isn't easy, as I have extremely high standards). Robert completes tasks on schedule, does amazing quality of work, has fantastic ideas, and leaves the project clean and orderly upon completion each day. If you as the customer are not satisfied with any aspect of his project, neither is he. The most recent project was a complete kitchen/great room makeover. All new custom cabinets, lighting, counter tops, flooring, and layout. I still look at his work every day and love what I see, even though it's been a few years. Best contractor, I've ever worked with.

We bought a house that needed some updating. We hired Robert to replace the roof and install new windows and a set of French doors where none had been before. His crew was on time, professional and courteous. Problems encountered with an older house were resolved quickly and at no additional cost. Whether it is the kitchen, bathrooms or master suite, we will call Robert for our next remodel project.

On the day I bought my house, I knew that i wasn't getting my dream kitchen but that one day, I could get it. It had the "potential" to be a great kitchen... It was just a matter of getting rid of a huge wall, the prospective of months of work in a large area of the house, the dust, the noise, 3 kids and 2 dogs... And the need of hiring a contractor...! A very good friend of mine had just gone through the process of remodeling her house and convinced me to call Robert. I had left countless of voicemails to many contractors already and I was amazed that Robert picked up his phone right away! We met a week later. After reviewing what needed to be done, he priced everything and we signed a contract. The price was specified, the deadlines he had to meet, when I'll write a check and for what amount... And an estimated delivery date (I added a few weeks in my head to this date, to not be disappointed and frustrated). When the work actually started, his guys put tarps and build a temporary wall to prevent the kids and the dogs to go to the area. (How thoughtful!). All the workers who came in were very courteous, nice polite, on time and knowledgeable! Robert knew them all and was on their case all the time to make sure they completed everything very well and on time. He was on site really often. To my surprise, I got my dream kitchen a full week before the date stated in the contract! I can not recommend Robert high enough. He made the all process go smoothly. I was lucky enough to be recommend, Robert From Complete Building Concepts to remodel my kitchen. Robert came to my home measured my kitchen and listened to my ideas and design choices. Within a couple a days had a kitchen design and a detailed bid that covered every aspect of my kitchen project. Throughout the project there were several major structural issues (which were unforeseen conditions) that arose. I feared a series of massive change orders coming our way but were completely caught off guard when Robert met with me and told me "I gave you a price to remodel your Kitchen and I will stand by that". I was shocked. That's unheard of in my world. Robert is a very honest and talented individual who stands by what he says but also manages to convey that same sort of work ethic and commitment to his crew. I was surprised on the last day of our Project a cleaning crew came to my home and cleaned every room in the house.
