We had a fantastic experience working with Custom Contracting for our attic remodel/addition project. The team really took the time to get to know us and our hopes for the project -from overall design to every detail. They were easy to communicate with throughout, stayed on schedule and budget, and were flexible with our changes and requests. The subcontractors were all highly skilled and professional. We are thrilled with the outcome, truly life changing addition to our home. We have since reached out to Custom for additional projects and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future!

We are very pleased with how the bathroom turned out. Everyone who worked on the project was professional and responsible. Michael was very helpful and provided guidance that improved the bathroom. He was patient when we waffled on decisions or asked for unexpected things. Terry was conscientious and responsive; it was a pleasure working with him and his carpentry was flawless.

We hired Custom Contacting to build a portico atop our newly constructed walkway this Summer. The result is a portico that has received compliments from many of our neighbors (including two architects) - the workmanship is superb. The transformation of our front entranceway has been breathtaking and we couldn't be happier.

Custom Contracting is my Go To remodeler, both for my personal projects, such as the new Kitchen, as well as my recommendation to other Realtors in my practice here in Lexington. Whether they are doing work for me, or for someone I have recommended them to, it is always done timely, with near perfection, on time and on budget! They are in my opinion among the finest vendors I have ever dealt with.

From design through completion everything was done very well and in a timely fashion. This includes all the smaller parts as well as the room construction. Our overall project included a number of pieces and they all flowed together smoothly. Custom Contracting personnel and all the sub-contractors were excellent, courteous and attentive. They were also fun to have around!

Custom Contracting did a gut renovation of a small guest bathroom. I was very pleased with the process and the result – everyone is impressed when they see it. CCI was well organized, very helpful with the product selection process, and mindful of my budget limitations. They provided a detailed timeline of the project plan. Aside from his own hands-on work, lead carpenter Eric managed the sub-contractors and me – answering my questions, explaining the next steps, etc. Everyone who came to the house was pleasant and capable. The work area was cleaned at the end of the day. The quality of the work is excellent. I would use CCI again.

We've had Custom Contracting do many projects for us – from small (built-in bookshelf; window trim replacement) to large (kitchen renovation) – over the course of the past 18 years. Their workmanship, timeliness, and service is excellent! We've referred multiple friends to them and will continue to do so.

Custom Contracting has a great team of lead carpenters and subcontractors who did a fantastic job on our renovation. The project involved transforming a playroom into a master suite (with cathedral ceiling), swapping a half bath off the kitchen for a pantry, and adding a mudroom, closet and half bath off the kitchen. New floors in our living room and TV room too. Their president sat down with us at the outset to map out the project and make it work within our budget. There were a lot of moving parts once the project started, and we were impressed with how well Custom managed the entire process. Very pleased with the final product. You can see how much they pay attention to the details at every turn, from the woodwork in the mudroom to the tiling in the master bath. And all the guys were really pleasant to work with. We can't recommend them strongly enough.

We worked with Custom for a remodel of our kitchen, family room, mudroom, and powder room. The kitchen was a gut remodel that included pushing back a door to a stairwell to enable a kitchen island in the space. They were wonderful to work with and it was as enjoyable as living without a kitchen for a couple months can be. Dave was the lead carpenter and he was patient and delivered on everything we wanted. The space is gorgeous and we couldn't be more pleased. We would definitely work with Custom Contracting again.
